Member 11:48 pm, Dec 6 2012 Posts: 3	I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but Yankee-kun to Megane-chan may be a good fit for #1. (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=10829) Both of the main characters, Hana and Daichi, are not as they seem, and there are many misconceptions that cause a number of hilarious situations. It's about 23 volumes (almost fully translated, but not quite), but the constant comedy makes it difficult to put down. Hopefully that works!

Maken-ki To Aru Majutsu no Index To Aru Kagaku no Choudenjibou Mai-Hime Desert Punk (also has elements of number 2) Infinite Stratos Needless Slayers I Also know of some good manga that fit those descriptions that have not been made into anime yet if you are interested.
