In Italy a volume cost from 3,90€ [5,30$] to 5,90€ [8$]
Usually standard versions are 3.90 while deluxe are 4.90/5,90

LOL! That's Naruto or shounen crap, but any decent seinen cost at least 5,90 €. Just to mention the nearest manga I've here, Otoyomegatari is 6,00 €, Billy Bat is 7,50 €. And since the person who opened the thread mentioned it, Hetalia is 6,90 € in Italy.
Probably 5,90 € could be considered an average, definitely not the highest.

Deluxe editions like Happy! are 10,90 €, while Monster is 12,90 €.
The most expensive one I own is Ninja Bugeichou Kagemaruden, a volume costing 30 € (but they cover two japanese volumes).

Generally, the lowest price you can get for manga in the U.S. (at least where I live) is $10. Shonen Jump used to have the lowest prices with $8, but they changed those to $10. There's some old $8 copies floating around, but all the reprints are $10. Yen Press charges for the most part $12 for their manga. An exception to this would be "Spice And Wolf", which charges $13 a volume (the manga that is). And then there's publishers like Dark Horse, who generally charge the most for their manga. $14+ is usually the deal.

It can range from £7 - £15 in the UK.

Sometimes you can find a bargain, but it's rare on decent manga.

One time I saw them selling all copies of Berserk for £1 each at Waterstones.

Judging by everyone else's response, we seem to be getting it at a more jacked-up price.

EDIT: Should have read properly; some responses anyway. It seems absurd that a volume of a manga can cost more than a novel though.

Well.. Sakura new version is about 7 USD (14,00 reais BR) Well, its worth since is reaaally well-made
Ga-rei were about 5 dollars, Kimi ni todoke too. (10,90 reais BR)
most of the mangas are about 5 dollars (10,90) but some are more expensive.. it depends on the quality. When I were little it were like... 3 dollars? but it had just 2 or 3 chapters.. so it's better now. I have some american mangas but I when my friend gave Special A and Skip beat I first thought "Expensive.." 10 USD (20 reais)...

About $10 CAD per volume, or $12 CAD, depending on the manga.
^ I live in the middle of nowhere, as my province isn't that populated thus everything is expensive book-wise

Yah, that's my reaction too. That's why when it comes to manga, I prioritize my purchases. Regular paperbacks only cost about 6-8 bucks? Mass trade paperbacks 10-13, and manga falls right in that pricey book category for me. Maybe I'm biased, but sometimes I don't feel like I'm getting my money's worth if I'm paying 10-13 dollars for just one volume of manga. So when I buy manga, I do so only if there's a high re-read factor or if it's an extreme favorite. Otherwise, I'm fine with having manga occupy space on my hard drive.

Most are usually 7,50 euros here in Spain (9,75 US dollars), but some can cost up to 10 euros (13 dollars), like Haruhi Suzumiya.

Most manga available in my country are secondhand books which are always on sale, they are normally around 35 to 65 pesos, around 1 USD (they are real cheap, but manga titles here are limited)

The only volumes we can find in a Portuguese bookstore are Naruto, Bleach and One Piece. Sometimes, we can find Death Note, FMA... But not that usual. If we want volumes from another mangas, we have to order them from them or anime shops. Usually, the volumes are around 10€. The older volumes of the most usual mangas can have prices around 8€. When we order manga, the volumes can go up to 13€ or more. Even through Amazon or Ebay, since the delivery fees are ridiculous. So it's kinda impossible for a normal person to have manga here (Portugal), unless they have a good paycheck or they work and live in their parents' house.

About 7,50 euros here in Finland.
I'm not exactly sure about the prices anymore...
I prefer manga translated in English, which are about 12 euros around here.

For those of you paying less than $4 in price, where do you live, or do you get it used?
