Invincible but not immortal. Living forever would be way to tiring, and I would love not having chronic pain.

If you can be killed by sickness, how can you be called "invincible"?

I'd choose immortality with possibility of death by suicide.

I want to be immortal, invincible, physically nonageable, and invulnerable (not feel any pain or be wounded nor hurt.) And have all magics and power.

Invincible is a very broad word. It is to not be defeated, conquered, nor won by others, those include sickness, aging, etc. Those can not win. If I am dead by sickness, I am not invincible because sickness won. If death wins, I am not invincible. If I am invincible, I will always win or succeed.

I'm kinda torn between 1st and 2nd option. I mean if I play it right I could be an immortal wise man living for centuries honing various areas of expertise. Maybe I'll become a master at martial arts? A brilliant scientist? But then again I'd be very, very careful throughout my life, knowing the only way I'll die will be from an external force i.e, starvation, accident, murdered etc. It would kind of freak me out, at least in the beginning.
However, being invincible would be awesome (btw I don't think sickness should kill if you're invincible so I'll ignore that one). To be able to sustain any damage and live through it, hopefully not feeling any pain, is something that's hard to resist. As immortality would be depressing and the most likely scenario would be me ending up killing myself. Knowing I will live till I reach a normal age for one to die, 75-100, nothing being able to kill me before that; that would be some life.
Immortal and invincible is out of the question, I seriously doubt my mind would be able to handle and I would just end up insane and harmful to those around me.
Mortal: Eh, really?

I chose the first answer: Be immortal. It's just too tempting to resist, to be able to live and see what society will look like hundreds of years from now whilst having (hopefully) experienced so much! biggrin

Immortal and invincible provided that I can choose when I want to die. Taking it quite literally, you would eventually be baking in the sun unable to die.

I'm quite pessimistic about the world future in general, so I don't want to live forever. I would choose the first option, but it would mean I would have to commit suicide eventually (if I didn't die in an accident) and I don't want this. So probably no option from the poll... I suppose I would like to live a normal lifespan, but never get ill or senile, that would be good.

I want to be immortal... Since I think I can live so many different kind of life, I can try it all, from being a high-class criminal to no one.
There's no point on me being invincible, since I don' t live in those war times whatsoever. And my life will be too short. And I don't want to live forever, what if the world become boring? I'd try too many things to die, tough I can not die. Be mortal... seems nice, oh well, I'm buddhist and believe in reincarnation, I'll have another life anyway. laugh

This.

Also, I'd like to think that if I were immortal or invincible that I would have an exciting life and accomplish many different things. Change the world for the better and yada yada yada. But going by how I live my life now, I know that I'll probably just waste those extra years doing nothing extraordinary. Probably just watching TV and reading manga, like I do now.

Immortal but not invincible. There is a whole lot to do in a really limited time in the real world. Not being invincible would leave me a way out if i ever got tired of it.

Deep.

It would depend on what theories on the creation and death of a universe are true, but if I could figure out how to deal with the long wait and comfort (IE, Temperature and Vacuum), seeing the end of the universe and possible rebirth would be something to look forward to.

That would be an interesting option for this poll, but it would depend on the restrictions involving it, such as the forms we can return as, distance between forms, and whether we can only continue to come back so long as biological life exists somewhere.

Hell, if you can come back anywhere and as anything you choose to be, the only difference between reincarnation and the third option would be variation of form.

immortal sounds good, don't have to worry about getting cancer and other things and when i get sick of life i can always off myself, being immortal and invincible sounds nice but after a while i think it would get very tireing and not being able to die even if you want to sounds really horrible.

I don't want to live forever but it doesn't hurt to be safe from injuries. It'd be cool to go sky diving without having to worry about breaking your bones or having a life threatening concussion. I would be safe from viruses as well (infection is an external force). I like the idea of being able to live, grow old and die in peace =)

Also, the immorality option ...I say if people commit to immortality, they might as well commit to invincibility as well-just committing to immortality with the thought at the back of your mind that you can unplug whenever you want seems "too easy."
