I didn't until I decided I had to learn how to peel apples. Since then, I always do it if I have the time, a dish and a knife on hand. Just rinse a lot with water, peel, cut pieces while rotating, and to eat. Easy to do while watching or reading something. Of course, I like to eat the peel too.
