This morning, I was waiting for my Nutrition class to start and I was the first one in the lecture hall, so I took out Black and White and started to get further into it. I'm probably about a quarter in it so far.

Been about two months since I seriously sat down and read something. This is what happens when you don't go to school anymore. But I do have a number of books I'm in the middle of. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, and a collection of Japanese folk tales. I really feel like reading now.

Honestly, since manga. Probably the last twilight book (which I hated). Its kinda sad, but all I do is read manga now, and also books required for school. I do consider manga literature, and it contains reading, so its not like I haven't been actually reading. There is still literary content. I'm super picky about my books, as well. So when I find a book, I can't stop reading it until I'm done, but it's been awhile.

Just today. I just read The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. I love his stories.

a month ago maybe? and that's only if biographies count. I can't really get into books unless they're true stories or realistic enough to be. I get bored by staring at words for too long. I love magazines and short stories though smile I could read those all day.

Does college textbook count?
I went to my parents house, found my Electric Circuits textbook and read the first two chapters then and there. My head was spinning afterwards biggrin

I started The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss today. Excellent so far. Now I have the urge to go read the first book in the series again, right after I finish this one.

Now that I read so much manga, my book reading is less. Formerly at least two books a week. Now can be as little as one book a week. But every time I drag myself away from manga and back to books, I remember why I love books so much biggrin Reading is my relaxation, my entertainment and my energy (both books and manga).

@ShadowSakura--I love Tamora Pierce biggrin

Same here, except I started the first book, and I'm not a Tamora Pierce fan.

It's been a while (except for manga of course). It's not that I don't like reading novels, actually I do, it's just that I can't be bothered these days. I have one novel that I haven't finished reading, but last time I tried to read it I found it quite boring. I was pretty distracted at that time though, so I wasn't really focused. I'll get around to it one day, and I'll probably read more when my favourite authors come out with new novels.

Last week I read Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. Been reading manga after, and after I finish the manga, another book again.
