Doesn't seem like you have, as it lists the site to download it from (which is currently down, but that's not my problem)

Try using the console version (and not the graphical version)

How do our CPU's resources help their computers?

Your own computer isn't directly helping their computers. Instead, your computer will be running tasks (simulating the folding of proteins) that their system dictates. Your machine will run something different than the next machine. All machines together run in parallel, thus lots of work is output

So they're sending info to my computer, not commands?

Just as much as the online games you play or the web browser you use. For instance, this site (and many others) send JavaScript commands to run on your computer. Info is sent in the form of web pages.
The only way to be risk-free on the Internet is to not be on the Internet at all

I accept that as a fact, the internet is risky That's what I wanted to know: the commands it sends are the same as those which are usually sent to the computer when we surf the net, right?

These are just specialized commands to the Folding@Home program that include the instructions on how to fold a specific protein. And then after your computer finishes simulating that protein, it'll send the results over to the F@H servers
