i already know how to use mirc since... last 4 months! but after i am done i deleted mirc and say goodbye to it xDD since i am too bother to go on it and i should say... #lurk...is......the source of almost..almost.. all the hidden and....... scanlation mangas!!! i don't like going on the screen, typing list, looking at colors, and visiting groups to dl. IRC IS the first choice of scanlation releases but http is not losing either xD

thanks dude...i had no idea what the heck ircs were that i asked people, then posted it into the wrong category in a forum and now i am banned for a month T_T why is everyone so mean? I just got into the life of a real leecher and everyone starts picking on me? so mean

well, it is their rules, and maybe you should try to be careful with it ^_^. But i myself never got ban so i never know how it felt, must be harsh but it's okay. Now that you've got the hang of irc it won't be a problem for you to not get ban anymore right ;)

just to let people know...I am an Idiot. yes, even my username means idiot, just because of that special fact that I am an idiot. and I guess, i either need help or be shot because i don't know what to do about Quote . type "/server irc.irchighway.net" without the quotes into IRC. Yu will be automatically connected to irchighway no idea where to do that...T_T if anyone has an AIM or yahoo or MSN PLEASE HELP THIS IDIOT

I created this tutorial to show how idiots you can leech manga off irc using opera browser. First of all you need opera browser 9.2. Get it at http://www.opera.com
If you can't figure out how to download the browser then go jump off a cliff right now. Go. Now. Once you have opera browser and you install it (just follow simple instructions) you can go view the tutorial here at
http://eduarduruena.bravehost.com you should use your old browser to do so cause you need flash. If you don't have flash get it here:http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/dow nload.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW (fairly simple) once you can open opera and you can view the tutorial you are good to go use the controls at the bottom to pause the video where necessary. Obviously use your own nicks and names and try using a nick that would not be taken put numbers onto it you won't need to remember it again only your nick password. In the tutorial mine was alirio. Replace accordingly. If this doesn't help you leech off of lurk then god help us all you are stupid. Haha.
Seriously tell me if this helped you or not. Oh the file is about 5 megs so it will take a little but to load.

So that's what Opera looks like. That's one simple tutorial (easier to understand than the one at the begining of this topic). Hope you don't mind me waisting you bandwidth (I already know IRC). 
What program did you use to edit-in those little comments into the video? Oh, and you do know lurk creates the "/msg botname send #packnum"-line for you, right?

That's fine I don't mind. The program puts those comments in automatically. Also opera has a really cool skinning system. So it look however you want it mine of couse was set to default whith the colour scheme indigo yep each skin in integrated with the colour schemes. No I did not know that but then it is even easier isn't it. Well I usuall download all their packlists to txt files and whenever I need manga I do ctrl+F. Doubt it makes much difference how you enter the get command. In fact I think it's better this way cause they can actually see how the commands in irc work like /msg join or /msg NickServ.
What do you think? Is using irc from opera easier than MIRC I think so and you don't get the annoying donation reminder after 30 days. Hehe
But Gir your comment doesn't really count. Sorry. 
What about the dummies that don't know IRC. Did this help you in any way?
Edit I just realized that these posts shouldn't really be here. Since the topic is mIRC. oh well. Maybe I should start a new topic oIRC: the Idiot's choice.
