Woah!! so..much..options o_O. However, in the end I choose boxing because girls of the wild's is the only manga/ I like that has sports in it.

My opinion on sports manga is that the sport doesn't matter. Chances are it's going to get turned into some crazy superhuman Dragonball thing like Prince of Tennis anyway, since recording an actual bout of most sports in comic book form would be painfully boring.
So no vote on this one from me. What makes a sport series really interesting is everything else that isn't the sport. The characters, the drama, etc.

I don't really like sports manga but I chose Cheerleading because I think all the hot chicks would make me less inclined to drop it. I know I'm a pervert....

Well, I suppose I can deal with any sports. I mean, I didn't think I'd be a fan of wheelchair basketball, but Takehiko Inoue managed to prove me wrong. At the end of the day, it's more about the story and characters than the sport itself.
For the sake of the poll, I chose motor racing since I'm a fan of MotoGP. Or used to be anyway.
