I like to play them, but sometimes they can get a bit boring after you'd play for a while, besides they're very time consuming as others said so I don't really play them that often. The only ones I really didn't get bored from are Clannad and Heart no Kuni no Alice, but the last one isn't translated to English sadly and AGTH to Atlas translation pretty much sucked, ugh. (another reason to learn Japanese...)
