I used to love bleach like waiting every week for each chapter and even the anime. Kubo never fulfill my expectations and manga just went downhill. Compare to One Piece and Naruto, Bleach just lack that punch or I would rather say something exciting or new. Hunter X hunter is back weekly too.
I think there are still many die hard fans out there but I really don't see a future for this manga. Everything has been revealed and exhausted.

i think it should have ended with Aizen, but the current ark fells more like an end to me. the author should just end it and tie up loose ends with a supplement or something

It should have ended after soul society. It started getting ridiculous at end of the ss arc.

Don't get me wrong, it's still a decent comic. It definitely has it's moments. biggrin

I do not think it should have ended with Aizen. There was too much left in the open. If that had happened we'd be in a similar topic commenting how rushed, crappy and full of holes the ending was.

For me, I think it started going bad at the fight with the top espada, and I knew it was going bad when Aizen started mutating every chapter. The power levels in Bleach were always wacky but then they were beyond stupid.

Now, the story's sucking. It's like fillers with added wimpiness, it's the bounto all over again, just that this time the bird we will have to put up with for the rest of the series is a cute fullbringer(stupid name) girl and there's a whole collection of fullbringer turtles. Screw the rabbit, don't like him, he can be the dead creepy guy(btw, anyone notice how this guy never told his sad tale? i guess he wasn't popular. Or kubo was enlightened into thinking that having another super mega ability out there wasn't good for balance and zaraki'ed him). I'm not even gonna go on talking about ichigo's personality change, ichigo's crappy clothing change, the unexplained disappearance of characters (neliel wouldn't want to know about him anymore? what about the vizards? and his own fraking hollow forgot him? What was that 'if you soften up, i'll ride you like a horse' stuff about man? wasn't he soft enough?). soul society's weird behavior (after all the crap about their ruthlessness in the manga, they leave a guy as ridiculously powerful as tsukishima live, are they insane?)

That said, I don't want it to end. If I held it so far I might as well see how it goes. I dare say I still have hope for this. Also, I still like some chapters(well, more like pages mostly) and the art is still good, I guess I'll just have to skip the speech bubbles.

I feel good now that I let that out... I feel ready for another chapter! smile wink grin

Sseing the current Quency arc and Fullbring arc,its obvious that Bleach should have ended with Aizen's defeat. To be precise,Aizen's defeat should have happened around 200 chapters ago but thanks to Kubo's plot stretching technique it will never end.
Well I am sure we might have enjoyed the current arc,if Kubo have given some foreshadowing about this some time ago(right time would be in the start). I wouldnt have mind if he gave foreshadowing after first 200-300 chapters as Kubo stated he wasnt sure if he can keep Bleach in action for more than 5 years when he started. So it might have made some sense if there were foreshadowing after first 200-300 chapters.... He could have done it in fullbring arc as I am sure that would have been more interesting than Ichigo's 20 chapters training and then 5-6 chapters end of bond part.

Not giving any foreshadowing just shows how much bleach is stretched and also Kubo's skill as a writer. Its just prove that defeat of Aizen with the revealtion of Ishin's past would be a perfect ending. Ishin's past will definately be interesting than 50-60 chapters of filler chapters with no plot development, well that was the case for both Hueco Mundo and Fake Karakura arc......well same for current arc.

And then... OUT OF NOWHERE FLYING CHICKEN PUNCH

Everyone but Ichigo and Rukia die
Ichigo turns into a full hollow
tentacle porn ensues
they repopulate the earth with half hollows capable of safe-incest

Best ending of this story, hands down.

Well, even if they all die, arent they suppose to go to "Soul Society"?
Im still wondering, where does the "Soul Society" residence go after they die?
I mean, arent "Soul Society" is the place to go after the people there die?

The balance they talking about before is about the number of soul in the living world and the soul society right?

... Okay so then, when everyone dies, their souls are gobbled up by Ichigo so he becomes Super-Saiyan-Hollow with super tentacles... Does that work?

Although... If Soul Society residents die they'd probably just Bam! Respawn in Earth. Although that makes me wonder, where the hell are the other 6+billion Soul Society residents? It is supposed to maintain the balance after all. As far as I can tell that small place could only hold a few hundred thousand or something right?

And I also wondering, why do they were called Gotei 13?
Are there any Gotei 1 - 12? Or maybe there are also Gotei 14 and further on?
I mean, maybe the soul society which we have seen until now, only a very small fraction of the whole afterlife in the Bleach universe?
And the Soul King or the Zero Squad is at another level of after "the afterlife"?
And thats where they go after they died in the soul society?
the soul of the soul society.....

I could be very wrong, but I remember hearing that Gotei 13 means 13 Divisions.

Thus, there probably aren't Gotei 1-12.

It's hard. Before Bleach, the mangaka had no big successes. Once you have a cash cow, it's hard to just let it go.

People don't realize that author DIDN'T want to make arrancar arc this long but was forced by editors to extend it because Japanese loved them, Kubo wanted the arc to be shorter. Also Prior to Aizen's defeat Kubo announced that Aizen's defeat would occur halfway through the manga. yes he wasn't supposed to be final boss. Foreshadowing for current arc already existed people just didn't see it, in omakes before current arc author said that this arc will explain: why Ichigo looks similar to Kaien, The truth behind the birth of Ichigo and why he's special will be revealed(arrancar grand fisher called ichigo true blood and aizen hinted that he is special existance) and few other secrets. All this will be revaled in this this arc with is a FINAL arc(confirmed by author) of bleach

Ending it after Aizen's defeat was too late. Bleach should have ended after the SS arc. At that point the story, chars and everything was pretty good. It only got downhill afterwards. To KT defense, very few know ppl can leave at their prime, most wait till it faaaar too late.

Like I said Japanese people actually liked arrancar arc very much and this manga was made mainly for Japanese people. it's ONLY difference in opinion because for Japanese people manga DIDN'T go downhill during arrancar arc. its matter of different culture what people like in japan doesn't have to be liked in europe or american and opposite so please stop complaining
