It's because he's lame, arrogant (and not in a good way), and he turns into a woman after the time skip. Enough said.
Oh, and he wants to be a bitch. I mean, how can you like a character that willingly says, Yeah, being a snake (as cool and Oro is) 's bitch? YEY!

meh, emo people are fun to read about i.e. sayonara zetsubo sensei, sasuke on the other hand was a pain in the ass to read about. think how many chapters they wasted on the guy. and another thing, in the real world, a kid that age would be extremely traumatized. it wouldn't be uncommon if he were to repress the memory and even have amnesia. in that event, woulda made the story a bit more interesting, and maybe he coulda been stronger, u no...shonen manga rule friends make u stronger or w/e, iono it worked for naruto.

my fav player is sasuke and he rocks and i dnt see those yaoi noob things cuz its silly i just see the manga and anime and sasuke rocks.......i hate thos who dnt like sasuke...he rulez  bythe way i like sasuke better when hes bad and i like bad guys....!!!!!

Sasuke sucks cause he is a gay emo kid, simple as that. His motivations are too childish, and his actions aren't what could be called intelligent, thus he is a shallow character. Just think about it, if he wanted to kill itachi asap, why pick orochimaru as teacher, if orochimaru wasn't nor the strongest nor the smartest ninja around.
Needless to say i don't particularly like any naruto character, and i wonder why the heck am i replaying to this.

besides everything everyone said, its sad to see that the first friend naruto made that he could connect to betrayed him. and naruto still is trying to get him back when it is hopeless. if he goes back to naruto, then he is taking advantage of his kindness. if he doesnt, hes a complete bastard. enuff sed.
