Mine's this Saturday actually, and I'm going~
It's at the House of Blues near DisneyLand, California

Taking anyone?

Yeah, I'm going as friends with someone. It'll still be fun though!

Oh definitely. Prom should be fun. Except everything is a bore at my school.

Nope. Never went and haven't regretted it yet.
1. I don't like crowds
2. I don't like the music they play
3. Couldn't eat the food if I went
4. Can't dance worth anything
5. Dresses are expensive

I agree with 1, 2, and 5, but I'm still going.

Crowds: ahh, the joy of hiding in the midst of your group of friends and avoiding anyone else. It works, it really does.

Music: it's gonna suck, but it's the same as what you hear on the radio at a store anyway, so I might as well enjoy the time with my friends.

Dresses: I'm getting a sari instead of a dress, so, while I agree with the price thing, it doesn't really apply to me too much.

I mainly want to go because I'm staying for a fifth year and my friends are all graduating, so it's the "big thing" they want me to do with them. Good memories et al. Besides, I'm having a sleepover at my house afterwards, which will be much fun for all.

I'm thinking about attending Senior Prom in a couple of years, but I highly doubt it.
Maybe I'll go as a photographer or something in the like. I do like dancing occasionally, but the whole prom clothing criteria pisses me off somehow. :3
I just don't like what I see I guess. But if you throw 10 of my friends in, I'll probably
join because it wouldn't be a party without them.

I have a cute little (not really a prom) formal coming up, and I might wear a pink/white tutu just for the hell of it. Sort of like a "HAHAHA IN YOUR FACE" kind of thing.
Tutus = proms, just don't go. Well. In my opinion. :3 I like crowds for the most part, and I don't eat much as I used to so food isn't the problem and neither is clothing.
I guess I would go if I had the time, but I highly doubt it.

didnt go. not going to go ever. I cant dance and I dont like the dresses. and way too many drunk people go , it makes me feel uncomfortable. Plus, everyone (almost) who goes has a date or at least has one dance with a member of the opposite gender, and I dont want to make a fool of myself being the only one who doesnt.

didn't go, and only a few of my classmates went. As excuse, i don't like parties.

You live really close to me. Once I get a band together, that's one of the places I want to play.

Didn't go.
The brilliant student council of my HS set the prom date on the same day as the biggest and most important biology competition for HS seniors.

tsk tsk tsk, excuses, excuses. That's why you are always to uptight.

Naah...the reason behind it all -> I am lazy.
Getting a good score from that competition has granted me the highest grade in the HS final biology exam. Meaning -> more free time.

Lamb, have fun! And take some pics to show us later eyes
...I doubt you will, but it was worth a try.

I didn't go, and I regret it. There were actually a few girls whom wouldn't have minded spending some time with me there, and maybe dancing a little. It also didn't help that I had no money whatsoever. So even if I did feel like going I was still flat broke until after the prom. from what I heard, our senior prom wasn't that great. The ac broke and it was a heatwave. Then it started raining. Still would have gone though.
