Quote from Dr. Love *had to look up what pig Latin was*
Example: Banana ==> Anana-bay
That's the common version. There are two others.
*Shoos Dr. Love off to look it up again.*

Examples:
Button==> Utton-bay
Amsterdam==> Amsterdam-way
A whole sentence..
"This is an example of Pig Latin. As you can see, it is silly, but sort of fun for children."
Translates to..
"Is-thay is-way an-way example-way of-way Ig-pay Atin-lay. As-way ou-yay an-cay ee-say, it-way is-way illy-say, ut-bay ort-say of-way un-fay or-fay ildren-chay."
I think that's all.. Right, Shattered?
*hopes that Shattered doesn't say to look it up again*

That's right, but there is another way. Much harder, if I remember correctly.

It was a lesson from about third grade, I had to translate from three different versions and I didn't like it. So, no, I don't remember, I just know there are three versions.

I think I may actually be able to learn that one because it's my Grandpa's native language. I think he might be able to help me out, but he says I can't pronounce the 'r's to save my life. I think he compared me to a drowning cat, actually.

You just have to roll the 'r' over your tongue..
If you want to learn German, I'l warn you that they have ?? ... Don't know the grammatic word for it.. But they're like Latin.. They also have Genitiv, Dativ and Akkusativ.. (Hope I spelled it right..)
While French doesn't has that.. So in that area, French is easier..
"Tu comprends que je te veux dire..?"

Mmm... I think the way you pronounce the 'r' differs depending on the region of Germany. One requires rolling your tongue like in Spanish, while the other comes from the throat. I forget which regions they are though.
In english, they would be nominative, accusative, dative and genitive, so the one you forgot was probably nominativ. Or, did you mean something else by the "??"? Well, the language that contributed most to English is German, so a lot of words are similar, and their pronounciation of words isn't as confusing as english.
"Tu comprends que je te veux dire..?" = "Do you understand what I want to say to you?" although I think it should be "Tu comprends ce que je veux te dire?"

Might help if I could figure out how to do that.

Quote from tps2 I speak 3, portuguese, english (talked with a nuttjob from london sometimes ) and a bit of spanish (from Argentina). By the way moritana by speaking spanish you are able to understand portuguese also.
Oh, so that's why that brazilian kid could understand spanish. Now I know why. Cool. So, I know cantonese, english, french, spanish/mandarin. That's pretty much the order I started knowing/understanding more than 10 full sentences in each language.
Quote from tps2 I think spanish is easier I think so, too, but I learned French first so I'm not quite sure from a purely English perspective.
Quote from otakubaybay I might just end up taking two years of both Spanish and French because Spanish, for practicality, and French, because I think it might actually be pretty interesting Yeah. French is interesting.

Since I'm not that good at French..
I didn't forget the nominative.. Just thought that was the least important.. And with the "??".. I meant the grammatic term for.. nominative, genitive, accusative, dative..
I don't think that German and English look alike at all..
@Shattered: I don't know how I can explain it in words.. @_@
