The worst thing that could happen to this site is the removal of links to scanlation groups, names of scanlating groups and the info when a new scanlation was released.
But since the laws differ from country to country, I'm just guessing.

It's funny that the publishing companies use paysites like narutofan as justification for going after pirated manga sites, yet the only websites I see being shut down are sites that don't make any money like onemanga. I understand and respect them wanting to get rid of raws that come out before they're even published (like one piece, naruto, etc.), but the scanlation community caters to a crowd who do not want to wait months or years for crappy translations from the likes of Viz and others. This will not help their cause in getting us to pay for manga b/c most of us can't afford to pay for all the manga we read and we certainly wouldn't pay for an inferior product to free scans like the kind being published in America. I expect the next step after they get all these different sites shut down is that we go underground back to using p2p and irc. Then the question remains, will they go the route of the music industry and start pursuing individuals who download the manga or will they be content with making it harder for us to get the manga we love, but in the big scheme of things change absolutely nothing. Because we all know that probably 95% or more of us will still get free manga scans somehow and would never pay money for it unless they created a website where we can pay a monthly fee for access to all the manga we want.

your site is really awesome for searching which group is scanlating which manga.
Tracing from the root, its all because the lazy leecher here who likes to read manga online instead downloading it straight from its group or from irc channel.

Nor is to neither, or is to either. Anything else is grammatically wrong. I don't even see the point of debating it.

Let's hope this site remains untouched. After all you don't keep any material in here.

Manga will not disappear even if the publishers were to disappear. Artists will always be around even if they get paid nothing for what they do, and today it is easier than ever with the internet to distribute content without the need for a publisher. Will some quit? Sure. Others won't and new artists will come onto the scene without being in it for the money.

This doesn't really matter to me to be honest. Never really did liking OM because they sometimes resizes the manga page, besides there was something there that I just didn't liked. I always liked MF more, mostly because they also have more manga to offer for us. (aside from the fact that there are a few immature idiots on that site who are below 15 *sigh* I should really stop looking at the forums...)

Oh, and don't forget the most important fact guys: Google. There are a lot of other unknown sites where you can read manga, trust me. Just Google it. Type in some kind of manga (doesn't matter what) that's licensed AND scanlated - you'll still be able to find it, mostly on the first page already. So it's still not that hard to find a manga unless you are even too lazy to search a bit. Shame on you.

Agreed, if this site is guilty of something then Google and every other search engine is guilty of it too, don't you think?

God, if you guys get closed down I'll die. ;A; It's already bad enough that OneManga's getting shut down and MangaToshokan is taking the majority of it's manga down. I want this madness to stop. ;n;
