Quote from ahoaho I don't really read a lot of harem manga, but I have to go with I"s because it has the best story of all the ones that I have seen, is realistic, has a good ending, and isn't stupid.
Quoting this so I type less

Still can't see how anyone enjoys a manga in which the main character is a failure at life...

They must be doing something right in life to have so many of the opposite sex chasing after them I like Harem manga, they are stupid/pointless/ridiculous at times but I think that is part of the charm of them If your looking for something worthwhile, intelligent or true to life from a Harem, your reading the wrong manga

But I"s WASN'T stupid/pointless/ridiculous... The guy was portrayed as a failure so realistically that it even made me depressed.

for me... i liked negima because the hero is not the cliche hero type you see in most harems. I wished I knew more series like this where the girls' object of affection is not a useless, dumbass man!

Quote from hyery Quote from Geese1 Some good choices thrown out there: Sekirei, To-Love Ru, Umi no Misaki, etc.which makes the choice difficult. If I can only choose just one though, I'd have to say: Ai Kora. It's funny as hell; all the females are likable; it has a fantastic supporting cast; and finally it comes with possibly the greatest male lead ever put to paper. As a whole, it really doesn't break any new ground, but everything is done just so well that I can't help loving it! [Edit] Just thought of this... would you consider Change 123 a harem? If so, that really makes my choice difficult... ;) Nope, i don't think so. In Change 123 the female lead has some kinda extreme split personality case. They are all basically one person, instead of just changing the personality, they go one better by being able to change both in personality and physicality. But the fact remain that they are still one person, so with that in mind, i don't think it should be considered as harem(in the end, it just a matter of opinion i guess) IDK. I would consider Change 123 a harem, simply b/c they may be one person physically but there are 3 distinct personalities that are viewed as 3 different chars.
I was gonna come in and put down Bitter Virgin just to start an argument, but I can't even force myself to label it harem.
As for my favorite. It's a tie between Tenchi and Umi no Misaki

that's one difficult question... though I'd have to go with Negima because it's funny. And having a main character that's 10 years old is...different.

Ima go with I"s, followed closely by To-LOVE-Ru at the moment. Would've went for Ichigo 100% if it wasn't for the dissapointing ending
