Hoho, nice. biggrin I won't mock you. Sometimes we're just not ready to meet certain stories. Many saved me in a way and I'm grateful that I came across them only later in life. As for me, has anybody heard of Campus Confidential, Taiwanese one? And I said to my niece that the main actor probably didn't get any role later on... roll eyes Boy, I was wrong.

The latest Rurouni Kenshin movie. Thank you japan. Sometimes you can do life-action in the modern day it seems. Please make it 5 parts in all. The sucess is there.

Me too! I loved the movie. The story itself wasn't that original but it was still great to watch smile

Hercules (The Rock one)
Frozen

Both were good, I loved the take on the Hercules legend. Frozen was overhyped but still enjoyed it.
Also all 3 Lord of the Rings Director's Cut on New Years. Had 20 people in the house over the 12 hour period so... yay?

The Anomaly. It's reaaaaalllly confusing at first...

Actually, it's kind of confusing all the way until the end biggrin

EDIT: Oh, and We Still Kill the Old Way... for some reason I started laughing during the torture scene...

Falcon Rising - Liked the fights, felt kind of real. Not a bunch of wire-fu...
Story was so-so, and I don't really like movies that end with what essentially is a "to be continued"... unless I KNOW that there will be a sequel.

Dracula Untold. Liked it. Loved the way they did the vampire powers. Hoping for a sequel biggrin

Liam Neeson's Taken 3. It was an okay film. Forgettable but was good while it lasted.

John Wick. Liked his CQC gun-fighting biggrin . Like how he shoots a guy in the leg, then smashes his face with a bottle, smacks his head against a table by pulling his beard and then shoots him twice in the head . That's something you don't see too often in movies.

Also watched Erased. Wished it would have been a bit longer. Felt somewhat rushed towards the end. Not a bad movie, but...

EDIT: Erased may also be known as The Expatriot... Just in case smile

The 8,5/10 Birdman aka. "Not Batman" won the Oscar and that is nice.
My favourite movie of 2014 is Nymphomaniac (9/10) and that surprises me more then anymore else. Von Trier is very hit and miss, Rammstein is cancer to my german ears and un-simulated sex is the worst idea on earth (after 3D) but this tale of human darkness showed real teeth and dared to go where a modern Studio never would.
Don´t expect a porno as you won´t like it and the two bad links are the later scenes with Shia (not Indiana Jones) Labeouf as he can´t act and the wasted on a weak character Uma Thurman. The ending is the best part and the 4+ hours flew by. The movie is only 16+ in germany as we are crazy that way and did you know that every Oscar nominee get´s $250 Afterglow vibrator laugh as a gift? Yes even Clint Eastwood (age 84) owns at least one now! Lol America. Here is what else they get: http://variety.com/2015/film/awards/oscar-nominees-gift-bag-25 k-swag-bag-1201431221/
2014 was a good year for Studio movies and performances but sadly no 10/10 were to be found and The Lego Movie (9/10) was criminally snubbed.
What were yours and Giovanni's Island (8,5/10) was the anime film of 2014 to me.
They nailed Russia btw. and i am 50% that.
