*Shrugs*
I personally feel that console RPG games like the Final Fantasy games should be more like PC RPG games. Like, allow the player to actually influence how the game goes etc. They tend to focus more on things like leveling and such, and I'm getting a tad bit sick of it.
As for Final Fantasy XIII, it's still a Final Fantasy game, and it's reported that they will try to make the battle scenes like the ones they showed in FF VII: Advent Children.
I would get the game if I can, but I won't drool over it or anything. Console RPG-ish games will never beat PC RPG games like Planescape:Torment, Fallout 1 / 2, Baldur's Gate etc.

Now that it has come for X360, I really hope they release it for the PC too.
Don't put your hopes up though. Square-Enix themselves said they had no current plans to do so~

i dont think theres an AFFORDABLE pc out there capable to run FFXIII. I guess its less expensive to buy a ps3/xbox360 and the game, instead X3

Eh, they're two totally different games?
XIII has a female lead, while Versus XIII has a male lead.
They play off in the same universe, but they have their own story.

Polite bump.
Wheeeeeeeee, it's almost coming out! I'm a FF fan, so I'm looking terribly forward to this. And the date's nearing with each day, yay. I hope it doesn't disappoint, and I hope that each character of the main cast will be equally important though I doubt that.

RECENT UPDATES/TIDBITS! (just summing them up)
- Japanese release date will be the 17th of December.
- Overseas release date is March 2010.
- I want a limited FFXIII 250GB PS3 edition! ;__; They're going to make one, the same as they did with Cloud Black PS3 and the FFXII PS2 one.
- They're making a FFXIII elixer drink too! xD; Like FFXII's Potion drink.
- The game is rated 12+ in Japan.
- FFXIII's theme will be sung by J-Pop artist Sayuri Sugawara. It's called Kimi ga Iru Kara (Because You're Here), and will be released on December the 2nd.
- You can pre-order the Japanese game for $89.90, now.
- Sazh has a son, and he's super cute! >3< His name is Dajh.
- There's also going to be a FFXIII webnovel. Episode Zero: Promise is a web novelization consisting of a series of stories that lead up to the main FFXIII story, potentially adding further insight into the game. The stories are being penned by Jun Eishima, who's worked on a number of other Square Enix novelizations. The first episode will be titled "Encounter".
- The latest addition to the cast is a girl named Serah Farron. She was mentioned before in previous trailers, but hasn't been shown yet. Tsumugi's voice-actor (you know, K-ON!) does Serah in the Japanese version. She is Lightning's younger sister. A headstrong girl who believes in solving her own problems and not getting other people involved. She is always very concerned for her elder sister. She wears a necklace on her chest, a present from Snow. Lightning does not approve of her engagement with Snow. Like her sister, she is a L'Cie and is marked with a tattoo of two red spheres on her left arm.
(Her character design is so awesome! >__<;;
I'm in love~ Both sisters are hot. :'D )

I've been looking forward to Versus XIII the most. XIII looks interesting, to say the least; and I'll probably by Agito for the hell of it. But Versus is my main priority, I guess you could say.
Admittedly, I have only really played XII - which, I loved [still have to finish all the side-quests, though.]
And a bit of X, but then, alas, I died; and haven't had the motivation to play it...I might just start at the beginning, I wasn't that far in, anyways.
But that one system...really confuses me, in XII they have the license system, in X, something else +forgot what it's called XD+.
