So you read HQ after LQ? Or something like that...
For me, I'll typically read HQ only. But when I do read the LQ, I still get the HQ for my archives
Question: In general, do you read series in HQ after reading in LQ? Choices: Yes, LQ first then HQ - votes: 2007 (25.2%) I only read HQ - votes: 1802 (22.6%) No, but I archive the HQ - votes: 2096 (26.3%) No, LQ only since I only read a chapter once - votes: 1969 (24.7%) No scanlations for me - votes: 94 (1.2%) There were 7968 total votes. The poll ended: March 28th 2009

Errr....
No option of, "I just read whatever is there"? XDDD
I just read whatever the online reading sites I use (Mangafox, Onemanga, ect, ect), have up for that chapter. Onemanga, I know, posts HQ as it is out, and since I re-read chapters, I guess I read LQ first and then HQ.

I usually only read something once, so if a HQ version comes out later I don't read/ archive it. But generally I only read HQ/MQ and don't bother with LQ scanlations.

Most of what I read is only being done by one group, in MQ or HQ, so I guess I'd have to choose "I only read HQ..."?

I don't usually read LQ works because it doesn't make it that enjoyable for me...well, the only real LQ work I really read are those weekly series and I read those online. The others, I archive and download them.

I read the LQ first. I download the HQ and skim through it. (and replace the LQ one) I generally don't do that though. But in things like Amachu, where there aren't many chapters yet, its easy to follow. Also, the LQ isn't falf bad.

Not really in general since I only read LQ then HQ for one series. But if I read it in LQ once I see no point to reading it in HQ, since most LQ's I read aren't that bad.
So option one I guess.

I feel like this poll only applies to series that are megapopular enough to have more than one group scanlating them at the same time. Like, certain shounen series. Nothing I read has this issue... for the few series that have more than one group working on them, it's more an issue of one group seeming to be dead/dormant so another group takes over.
So I didn't vote.

I mostly only read HQ, but if I happen to read the LQ chapter of a manga first then of course I'd read the HQ later, because I can't feel satisfied by reading a chapter that hurts my eyes. =___=

I get the best quality available. But I don't really go back and look for better quality of mangas I already have. (that rarely happens since mangas tends to only be scanlated by one group at a time)
Had to choose "I only read HQ"

I have bad eyesight to begin with so it has to be HQ. I try to read raws because I really want to read it but usually they're so LQ I can't read them. So, I just wait until someone does a HQ scanlation of them.

I only reread something in HQ if 1) it actually has an HQ release since, like a few others, most of what I read is only done by one group, or 2) if the LQ was really, really LQ and I felt I had missed something because of that.
So, I chose the 4th option which is me 95% of the time.

I like it when the quality's better, but if I have to, I'll read the LQ. Sometimes when it's not readable or I feel my eyes being strained, I wait till HQ, but usually it's not that bad.

Most of the stuff I read tends to be HQ (or more often MQ but with solid effort put in to get a quick release). However, I tend to buy a lot of the stuff when it becomes available in the UK - so I guess I read HQ when it's released - and then archive the HQ in the form of real books .
