Okay, so now Nanami won't date Haruto because she has noticed that he's always thinking about Eba.
Now where have I seen this plot twist before? 
Hmmm, let me think...
AH! it was SUZUKA!
Honoka stopped dating the male protagonist whose name I can't remember because he was always doing things with suzuka, and thinking about her.
Now, I don't say I don't like Seo Kouji as a mangaka, but I do think that he should stop doing the same thing over and over again.
I could just read Suzuka again if I wanted to read that.
Opinions, please?

i don't care. yeah, he could have done some other twist, but i'm kinda happy that it's finally done. can't stand slow pacing stories. god damn, he could've friggin prolonged it by 3 volumes or so

Personally, I think that it is too early to compare this to other manga. Nanami may have said that she can't date him now, but that doesn't mean that he will date Yuzuki for the rest of the story (well, unless the story turns into Pastel). In my opinion Haruto treats Yuzuki just like his sister and that is why he can't leave her alone. If he can tell that to Nanami, then he still has a chance right now. I mean, there are only three guys in the story who live in town (and one of them is Nanami's brother), so it's not like she is going to start dating some other guy right now. Just give the story some time.

Exactly - the only simularity that i see in this to Suzuka is the artist.
The main charactors are completely different - one being a loser who can run when he tries and the other being a smart kid that just happens to be not very good at expressing his emotions.
Contrary to him not doing anything, he has already confessed and chased after what he wanted, even though it did not work out as he wanted - i think as long as there is no unwanted pregnacy in this one i will be happy lol

I have to second this 
Lets see if it will be similar to Suzuka. 41 chapters have only been released, thats nothing. Give it a chance first 
But yeah, of course there are gonna be similarities within the stories, especially if it's worked before in his previous works. You know how the saying goes, why fix it if it 'aint broke?

Well to me they seem somewhat similar as far as i can see: idiotic in the area of dealing with girls. the character trait of many shounen protagonists.

Wow, so Suzuka is like that, huh? Well, i haven't read it and have no intention of doing that now.The boy got dumped by the one he had a crush on and got his face squeezed into another girl's chest later 0_0 i don't think it's a twist, so predictable. However, with the same depth of the plot, more ECCHI would make this manga greater >_>

Don't defile this manga with thoughts of ecchi -_-. I think the manga is really good especially with the references from Suzuka. Of course your going to see similarities but that is more cause that is the mangaka's own way of doing things. It has several things that are its own and the main characters being different from each other is one such example. I can't wait to see more of this manga since its really good. Its just too bad I'm gonna be on ship for about 28 chapters of it in about a month and a half XD.

Forgive my rudeness, it's just that i don't think "ecchi" is something that would defile an "ecchi manga" (but still it should be used properly =_=) and personally i think this manga would be more intriguing with more stimulating factor.Anyhow,i have to admit that it's very good the way it is now, like a beautiful love story with a peaceful rhythm.

This isnt completely a boob grabbing and panty shot ecchi manga. At least it has a plot and story to it.
Also IMHO that "unwanted pregnancy" in Suzuka wasnt bad at all. How can you guys think of killing someone like Fuko

I didn't like Suzuka. I hate both protagonists...I didn't even read it to the end. Haruto is a much better character. He knows what he wants and can handle things pretty well. I also prefer Yuzuki over Suzuka. She isn't an arrogant b**ch. Don't compare Kimi no Iru machi with Suzuka!
Nanami is stupid for dumping Haruto. He and Yuzuki have a brother-sister relationship and it's not like Haruto is always thinking about Yuzuki and has a crush on her (like the guy in Suzuka).
btw..did you notice that Suzuka and KNIM are connected. The stories run parallel. (when Haruto was staying in his sister's apartment...the drunk girls from Suzuka knocked on his door)

So far I like this manga better than Suzuka (which I actually hate).

granted that the other girl that likes haruto isn't putting out. she is taking the high route to win him. nanami's reason for not dating haruto is (imo) dumb but it is understandable. she can't get over the fact that there is another girl that he is living with. and she most likely knows that haruto doesn't have feelings for her (at this point).
i'm pretty glad that yuzuki has stopped being so clingly to haruto, as in "i'll win you over".
also just for a fact, haruto is (very) considerate about other peoples feelings but he is unable to see very far. just like in chapter 48, of course nanami isn't that big of a bitch to say to yuzuki "i can't date haruto because you live with him, please move out so we can be lovey dovey..." haruto is just able to accept what the world is dealing out to him. then he is trying to move on.

i dont know why ppl like to compare KNIM to Suzuka, they are 2 different mangas, i also dont know why people hate the manga Suzuka so much, i for one loved the story, read it twice, i can understand ppl hating on Suzuka the character, but in KNIM it is completely different, anyways, ive read the latest chapter 76, im rooting for Haruto!!! i hope it wont be something like and arranged marriage of Eba and some guy and then Haruto will have to take Eba from the guy or something like that...
