I've been think about trying the series Sumire 17!! and Sumire 16!!.
So I was just wondering do I have to read 17 first (wouldn't it normally be 16 confused ), meaning would I still get it without reading them in order?
And do the 2 stories continue off each other?

Well, as far as I had read only the scanlated chapters, there isn't a real need to read them in order, I mean, the stories are different, only Sumire is the same (and the guy, of course). I read the completely scanlated one first, but I think whatever the order you will enjoy it anyways laugh

They're two entirely different stories that use the same main character(s). They happen in different schools, with different supporting characters, and with no continuations between them, so you can read either one first without spoiling anything for yourself.
