How much progress does this story have?? I havent read it yet cuz i dont want to start it till its finished if its very very slow in development as many claim it is.
Is this one of those mangas where after like 30 chapters of leading you on that somethings gonna change it end up going back to normal like nothing happen?
Or is there actual change and there is development between the 2 main characters.

thats good i got discouraged about reading this one sense people said its very slow but as long as something evolves every 10 to 15 chapters im happy

well i didn't read the whole thing again.. but a lot of things happen and well... it wasn't so slow beside comparing it to the release i laugh take it like a otaku!

Is this as good as Parallel? I liked Parallel...so mabe I might like this? I am not sure if i should read this...or is it even better than Parallel?

There's definitely development between the two main characters.
Spoiler (highlight to view) recently, they got into a bit of trouble for being a tad bit too developed :P
The series isn't "slow", it's just easy going or, shall we say, "mai pe-su da"

I liked parallel too. Yes both parallel and pastel are REALLY similar, but parallel moves a lot faster. pastel takes a while to develop.

In my opinion, theres still not THAT much development. A little here and there but its still going the same pace i think. To those that don't like its slow moving pace, don't get too excited. However, I enjoy its slow easy-going love development.

its a slice of life damit, dont expect fast development, for one be happy that there is development, where otherwise there usually isn't.
but after changing to a monthly manga, and the the authors deisre to have a long running manga, the development will tend to be slow, but there is development.

well to be blunt ......they didn't do it yet. .....i think its gonna be like Anedoki where the ending was left open

Its maddeningly slow going as far as their romance goes. And every time they take a step forward they take three steps backwards. And yet i am still very much hooked.
