I'm looking for a manga where the guy goes through a lot of emotional pain because at one point the girl he loves is with another man. Something with a happy ending. Unless its really good i prefer something realistic (no fantasy) and absolutely no homosexual genres.

Not exactly those qualifications but....
Maison Ikkoku
Godai struggles with the fact that his love is an ex widow and shes still in love with him also other men who can support her better than Godai can.And struggles of Godai trying to become something in life and try to eventually get with this woman. Lot of comedy but also drama filled much more drama in the later half of the series.
Most people consider this the epitome of romance manga.
Its Seinen and ran the Weekly Big Comic Sprits. 162 Chapters. Good Ending.

I super recommend Nana too. For me, it's the perfect romance manga/anime.

Nana doesn't match the request ( girl hurts guy who loves her, happy ending). In Nana, just about everybody hurts everyone else; nobody has clean hands.
Can't say there are a lot of manga like this. Girlfriend is a collection of short stories, but a couple of them fit the bill. Chisa x Pon in a tragic way. Yuutai Nova slightly (has the pain, but it's his ex, has fantasy elements, and is unlikely to have a happy ending involving her).
Boys Be anime did have this scenario, for what it's worth.

Couldn't agree more, I love this manga. As for recomendation... ranma 1/2? The ending is open so it is implied that they get together at some point. However the guy does gets hurt by the girl... a lot. Also you might wanna try city hunter as well.

I can only think of one manga that may fit your requirements, Yume de Aetara. The main guy definitely goes through plenty of pain over the girl. Just a warning...it is very long and (for me at least) extremely painful to read, because this guy is just so pathetic. I hope that this helps.
