I don't really know about incest, but all i know is kissxsis (though the brother is not related), and Tsukihime (again, no blood-relation). But aside from the mild types, are there ones that are to the point its almost rape? An older sister who cannot get any other guys because of her character, turns her attention towards her younger brother. Either it could be comical, or really traumatizing for the brother.

I rather enjoyed reading the third chapter. It's quite bizzare but that can happen IRL.

Yep. I am aware of that. I even put half of the unscanslated manga titles from the same mangaka into my wish list. They're very interesting. Especially Ichigo no gakkou and Maid Shokun

It's quite interesting to read this thread, especially because I just read a book about incest and asked myself about about my own opinion.
About 2 or 3 or even 4 years ago we had this big incest case in Germany(sombody even mentioned it before). A sister and brother living together openly. They even had I think about seven children and 4 of them were disabled. It was quite a scandal and the father even went to jail, but even after that they continued to live together and even to have children.
In Germany you can marry your cousin but first you need to undergo a long inspection where your familytree will be checked for genetic diseases and so on. So just .....whats the word......siblings in the first line (?) are off case.
I personally think that a forbbidance is not the best way, because the chance of falling in love with a sibling that you lived with your whole live is very rare, and if it ever happens then (okay I'm alittle bit scared to write that) it should be alowed as long as they know about the risks that come with having a child and decied not to have one.
But I'm an only child so the relationships between siblings might have a diffrent feeling for me. I guess I would rethink my opinion as soon as I would have my own children falling in love with each other (especially because there is a genetic disease in my family).
Well anyway I still have a question to ask. I once read this really good manga about siblings falling in love, but have a few problems remembering the name (and some of the plot). For instance I'm not sure if they were blood related or not ( but I'm pretty sure that at least in the end they weren't). I know that the parents didn't approve of the relationship and that the brother moved out and later on they move together. Also in the end the house burns down. It's really afar from any city. I also think the brother is an artist.
You know ever since I found this thread I'm on the look out for that story (seriously it burns me up). So I decided to simply post and asks if anyone of you know it.

hmm... I registered just for this because I had to ask... Is there not even 1 mother-son themed non-smut manga in existence?
I'm personally a fan of the incest genre because I love forbidden love, and reading stories where the characters eventually come to a love conquers all scenario is probably a huge factor in this. But reading through all these they're all so similar, and I just find it amazing that there are so many bro-sis, bro-bro, father-daughter, and at least one of every other incestuous scenario except mother-son, or aunt-son. I thought there would at least be a few. The only thing I've seen is step-mother-step-son in one manga (the one about the 15year shut-in) but I didn't like it because it had one of those vague endings where the only thing you know is they didn't end up together. Now I'm not into hentai but I know there are quite a few mother-son hentai stories out there, so why is it apparently impossible to find anything non-hentai?
And I know most people would think this kind of situation would be the worst but to me incest is incest, I think there are just as many people out there with mother complexes as sister complexes (though maybe hte mangaka's are ot ashamed to write them, as you can always pretend you don't have siblings, not so much with parents)
Seriously though, just because I can't find even one, does anyone know any mother-son manga at all?

In Zombie-Loan, Shito has a relationship with his mother. But they are both zombies so it probably doesn't matter.
