I was in love with Nana and Vampire Knight a long time ago. But Idk, I just find it hard to go back to it. It started to become really messy and hard to follow, especially since I stopped reading for more than a year.

Anything by SHINJO Mayu, I detest... none I just hate how she portrays women. Her art sucks too dead I can't like any other WATASE Yuu work too, except for Absolute Boyfriend.

Love Monster was horrible.I tried reading the first chapter and nothing clicked.

Finally somebody that thinks like me. I read more than the first chapter and it was the most annoying thing I've ever seen untill I couldn't stand it anymore so I dropped it. Really that girl had no brain but somehow all the so called bishies fall for her, the splot was overrepeted and even the art was less than average.

Fushigi Yuugi - RAWR. MIAKA.....

Bleach - just... really couldnt like it.
Ouran High School Host Club - i watched the anime already.. maybe thats the problem...
Karin - god more vampires...
Boarding House of Hunks - ANGER MANAGEMENT....

Nana
Vampire Knight
Kare Kano
He's Dedicated to Roses
Fushigi Yuugi etc. when there are manga like Himitsu around?

A lot of them...some of them I grew out of love, others I couldn't stand from the start. And for the ones that I really liked at first, it was either this:

a) when I came back to them much later, my tastes had changed and I no longer could enjoy them.

or b) the story kept going on and on and on... and there was not much progression in terms of plot, character, etc.

Love Monster
Nana
Fruits Basket
Hana Yori Dango
Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou
Hot Gimmick
W Juliet
Full Moon wo Sagashite
That Milk Crown Series
Perfect Girl Evolution
Goong
Angel Sanctuary Biblical literalism and interpretation of a historical document(Old and New Testaments) from a 21st century viewpoint(that's heavily influenced by sex, violence and blah blah blah)... ugh, with no actual understanding of the document itself.
[m]Ingeuno[/m]
Kaze Hikaru
Koukou Debut
Fushigi Yuugi
Tokyo Crazy Paradise
Vampire Knight

The list just goes on and on... dead ;; Probably because I made the mistake of not realizing how much I've been into far more serious kind of stories(realism, grittiness, etc., etc.) even as a child in elementary school. It's little wonder why I nearly wanted to kill myself for reading all those sweet and saccharine stories, most of the time. It took me a long time before I finally started broadening into other genres and demographics.

Well that's shoujo alone... josei, there's also stuff I don't quite like either.

[shugo chara]--so childish
Kimi ni Todoke--wayy too slow for me
anything by [shinjo mayu], i am a dude and i hate her for the way she potrays women and how the men are all rapists.

Ouran High School Host Club---overdramatic and lost its humour after 15 chapters. stupid romance.
Hana yori Dango--hated the girl. I loved cat street though and i think that was by the same mangaka.

anything by [hwang mi ri]--same type of storyline. There are always jjangs, delinquents and there always has to be an evil girl there. Horrible art as well.

Red River - I honestly don't understand what people see in this manga. Mary Sue heroine, no personality for the rest of the characters, PLAIN plot, ridiculous and unrealistic romance-not too mention all the abuse that takes place, supposedly political/military plot...horrible, just horrible.
Fushigi Yuugi and everything by Watase Yuu
Everything by Shinjo Mayu
Nana and everything by Ai Yazawa
Kaichou wa Maid sama - Full of clichés, 1-dimensional characters, no actual plot.
Kimi ni Todoke - I don't mind its pace but I find it predictable, common, over-the-top, too innocent and the comedy feels forced.
Uwasa no Midori-kun - Nothing special and what irritates me the most is the stupid sexism seen many times in other shoujo manga as well: "No matter how strong you are, you are still just a girl!" >.> Not amused. Not at all. >>
Hana Yori Dango - So cliché and sooo sappy(as in soap opera).
Vampire Knight - Typical shoujo manga with irritating 1-dimensional characters.
Hot Gimmick
Love Monster

Gave up on Vampire Knight like 2 years ago. I really liked it--at first. Then slowly I found myself forcing to like it after the part
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Yuki and Kaname discovered they were siblings and drove poor Zero enraged vowing to kill them both
or something like that. The story's too muddled now for me to even bother.

Same issue with BODY. I got the first three volumes, then read on the scans, found out how annoying the lead characters were and dropped it before I invest too much on the books.

I also dropped Vampire Knight, don't remember why XD
Also, I do have couple series of Arina Tanemura manga but I never finished them o.o There's one that I didn't even try to read since there's something I don't like her mangas.

omg yeh! i dont like the work by Shinjo Mayu because all the stories are the same! Her art is also the same!!!! I am still reading Vampire Knight though..I plan to finish it, if I can that is. smile so many of the mangas are already listed by everyone else so its no use in repeating. What i dont get is why all the manhwa style mangas have the female lead as a rude girl with no manners. Why is it like that? Can someone tell me why? confused

They aren't all like that. It's just that ppl keep translating the ones by Hwang Mi Ri and Han Yu-rang.

Almost every story by Hwang Mi Ri because she seems to keep recycling the stories with minimal changes. Also the art is a pretty big turnoff, and the stories aren't even that great to begin with.

Pretty much everything by Shinjo Mayu because of all the rape, and she also recycles stories that weren't even that great to begin with.

[m]Skip Beat[/m], I couldn't stand. I just couldn't get past the first few chapters because the main character kind of pissed me off. And, it wasn't even that funny. I think shoujo manga with 100+ chapters tend to drag a little, so that was also a turnoff even though I never got there.

Badminton Girl is really inaccurate, and the art scares me (the main character's eyes are just too big!) And is anyone else tired of the "oh you're not athletic but you've been watching for so long your eyes are really good so you're basically a genius at this sport" plot device? Because that is really not how badminton works in real life.

I also don't like Vampire Knight. I don't get why this one is so popular. Well, I guess I do. It's the same reason Twilight is! Gah!

Meine Liebe was the most predictable and cliched manga I have ever read. No joke. I predicted what was going to happen by the 2nd chapter. The art wasn't that great either, and the main character was stupid. - -;

I don't know. I can stomach a lot of the generic shoujo manga, but these I couldn't.

For me, its Vampire Knight biggrin

Although the art it's really really great, i don't like vampirish story (not a bif fan of Twilight saga--didn't watched the movies either), and the plot is really confusing. But I keep reading it (from Hanalala books--a chapter compilation of some famous Hakusensha's shoujo released every month in Indonesia--including Skip Beat, Arakure, Ouran High School, With My Brother, Ageha something bigrazz , Penguin Revolution, etc), but I saved it for the last (and sometimes skip it).

Oh, and Fruit Basket,, i like the early volumes, but after that,, it's story can make me sleep in a record time, haha eyes

And,, maybe Inu Yasha (but it's shounen i tought dead )
