japanese first i say, and then the more independent and dark american comics, and then manhwa(the names always completely confuse me tho)
dont really like the traditional superheroes, but i do love the mythology behind them

I voted for American.
It really depends on the artist and etc. Normally non superhero comics catch my attention. A popular example most people could relate to is 300 by Frank Miller.
Also, american comics are normally shorter. This is good when you're too busy to keep up with a long running series.

I'd say internet comics but most of the time I don't have the slightest idea where the comic comes from. So I didn't vote, but I lean towards American a bit.

Yea...manga ftw. XD Though there are some really good Korean manhwa, like Prince of Destruction is really good. But Japanese manga takes the cake~

Japanese, although I I like Manwahs (sp?), too.
American comics are stupid, imo. I tried reading Superman.. and couldn't. XD

I'm not sure. I mostly read Japanese comics. So... Manga?~ The others are nice too, it's just there aren't too many of them... And... Too much shoujo there too. ...
Never read American comics.

i definitely like manwha more than manga.
i have never been interested in American comics. the art just doesn't seem appealing.

I'm amazed out how often threads are bumped from last year or even further back, and no-one takes notice. Why did the bumper in question go all the way back just to post a comment like that? Jesus, that pisses me off...

The results are not so surprising since the poll is being held on a Japanese comic site I voted Japanese of course Some American/Western are pretty enoyable too, and you gotta love full colors. The Street Fighter comics by UDON comics especially - and one of the artists, Omar Dogan, uses Manga-esque style so it's sorta like...Western manga.

what is the point of leaving a rant post?

Hmm...manga is definitely first - I read way more of that then anything else, and (in general) find the art and usually the storyline to appeal to me more then any other type of comic. Next is probably manhwa - though I'm with Daed, the characters' names get me all mixed up. Maybe I just need to read more of them =P.
Third must be American, though the only ones I really read are the ones like 'Archie' - I've never touched anything superheroic, like what you usually think of when someone says 'American comic'.
...And then I don't think I've ever read any Chinese comics, so they'll have to be last.
