That Toujo and Tsukasa where not over clichéd as characters
and obviously the artwork, Mizuki is one of my top 3 favorite drawers

The artwork was gorgeous, obviously, but what made it stand out for me was that it wasn't the usual cliched harem ending were everyone ends up happy or some ambiguous thing where he is still stringing them all along. It was great because in the real world he would have to choose and be happy with it. I like that the indecisive pussy finally found his nuts and dumped the two that he hadn't chosen. That's what made this manga one of the best ever in my mind.

We don't really need a sequel when we know Nishino & Junpei lived happily ever after.

hm, i'm not a fortune teller, so i dunno smile
you probably don't need a sequel, but we don't know about how other people think in mind, right? smile
i believe what made people read this manga wasn't only because of junpei and tsukasa. smile
some people read it because of aya, some people read it because of satsuki. all of them had a different reasons. smile
as for me, i just want to know what happened to aya, satsuki and the others after the ending, because the ending for them were too ambiguous. so many questions left for many readers. and they still wondering for the answer.

If I'm dissapointed about one thing on this site it's Ichigo 100% score and the retards that rated it 0 cause their girl didn't get chosen.
7.89 Almost 10% scored it 0 due that basicly.

yeah, what a dreadful fact. smile
we can't blame them for that. the mangaka didn't prepare well enough to prevent that thing to happen. smile
and we have no right to call them retards, right? smile
as for me, i still give it full 9 even though i disappointed with it. but i would gave it 10 if the ending wasn't like that.
well, i guess we already know that this thread supposed to be only for discussing ichigo 100% positive aspects. smile

Ichigo 100% was the 2nd manga I ever read, and the 1st to ever finish. So I voted for the roller coaster plot. This concept of a harem was quite new to me and likable. laugh Most of what is good about the series has been said. All the choices in the poll are noteworthy in their own regard I think.

And of course the ending hit me hard, even being a Nishino fan, but I don't know if it being my first harem manga dulled the fact that it didn't follow the norm. none I didn't really realize that 'til later... Nishino seemed the natural choice.

ichigo 100% was my second manga I stumbled upon by myself, and not by recommendations. It did not dissapoint. This is one manga I've read many times. I think a manga that I can and want to read many times must be good (include ranma, berserk, akumetsu, sanctuary, one piece, etc.). But basically the artwork was what i liked the most, although the whole package was great. I liked the ending because it has caused a lot of discussion, I think the mizuki succeeded here. although it wouldn't have been bad if the future was told as well biggrin . In addition to that I also hate the fact that people rate it 0-1 just because of the ending. stupid kids.

but all in all the whole package was great but the artwork got my vote, it's wrong when people say you can't read a manga just for the art, I think I would have read this just to look at the drawings.

I'd say its cause the characters had lives.

Heck, the ending to the high school portion is that the relationship ends because they have careers to pursue. The characters were also likeable, and it had its twist and turns. It had a lot that worked really well. I didn't even get Nishino's character for a long time. So the second reading was interesting.

My favorite thing about this manga is the growth of the characters themselves. I love the depth that Kawashita put into these characters and it makes each read more enjoyable. The art was also fantastic and art is usually not a huge deal to me. The plot was great cause for my first read I was never really entirely sure though I had thought it was going to go the cliche route by going with Aya but instead went with Tsukasa. I don't particularly care for fan service though cause I think it tends to detract from a story dead . But this is my favorite manga and it threw me into the realm of romance manga which I hope to never leave biggrin

i don't think aya ending would be a cliche. smile
what can determine whether an ending would be a cliche or not, is not the characters on the scene. but how the ending process itself.
so, no matter which girl, i think the ending wouldn't be a cliche as long as the mangaka could make it unique and extraordinary. like the way she started the manga, indeed some people think it was a weird start, but i think the way ichigo 100% started was extraordinary smile

Regardless of whether it would be cliche or not, Ichigo 100% wouldn't be as talked about as it is now if it ended with Aya.

yeah i agree. smile
people keep on discussing this manga until now are mostly because they have a problem with this manga. and all of us already know what it is. and people mostly talked about that unresolved problem. smile just like we are now.
something controversial always attract people to talk about it, right?

as for the other manga like I"s, love hina, etc.
people don't discuss much about it anymore are mostly because the fans already satisfied and don't have anything crucial to complaint. smile

ah, i wonder...which way is better? smile

i didn't say anything bad about this manga. smile
isn't it a positive fact too that this manga is still discussed until now?
(although it also probably the opposite)

but, however, i'm sorry smile

this manga gave us a complete choices of tits sizes. smile
if you like them big, then you have satsuki and shiori sensei
if you like them a bit big but not as big as above, you have aya and kozue
if you like them medium, you have tsukasa and misuzu
if you like them small, you have yui and chinami

edit*
i hope no one would think i'm obscene smile

I still talk about it because I really enjoyed it. Everytime that I read a manga like it that ends up feeling super generic (I"s imo) or not as good, Ichigo 100% comes back to my mind and I reminisce about it.

Plus, it was the first manga like it that I had ever read so it's got some nostalgia for me and I judge like everything else thats similar to it off of it.
