Strong agnostic, I suppose, but I fall in line with some secular humanists because I place great value in stories of all kinds, and those are ultimately human inventions.

In other words, it's impossible to declare the existence of a deity (or the opposite) but that doesn't mean you can't examine moral or philosophical paradigms and apply them to how you live. Heck, I've gotten more mileage out of the opening line of Anna Karenina than I have out of just about anything else over the years.

I'm a devout Christian... (I don't have any particular denomination, since I believe that so long as the Lord comes first in your heart, denomination doesn't really matter.) Accordingly, I believe that the Bible is the true word of God, inspired by him to be written through men. My sins are paid for by the sacrifice of Christ, which he made simply out of love for each and every one of us. Even though I, along with everyone who has ever done anything wrong, don't deserve to go to heaven when I die, God loved us so much that he made a way for us to be able to go there: simply by admitting that I'm wrong and guilty, acknowledging that God is all-knowing and all-powerful, and accepting the forgiveness provided by Christ's sacrifice, even someone like me (I used to be kind of an arrogant jerk) can enter heaven and have a constant sense of peace and satisfaction in life. Each day I try to act as Christ would, so I believe that I should always act in love towards other people... serving God first, others second, and myself last. In this way, I can work to help others and to become a better person--as far as I can tell, these are two of the main purposes of our lives here on earth. But, I make mistakes and fail to do this way, way more often than should... even so, I can be forgiven just by asking... just by God's grace, although I don't deserve it.

I have no other explanation but his grace for the peace and happiness that always seems to be in my life, regardless of how good or bad my circumstances are each day. I want so much for everyone to be able to enjoy an eternity in heaven, and to have the kind of contentment in life that I've experienced. For that reason, I try my best to show Christ's love to others by being an example, by acting as he would.

...And that's the crux of my faith, Chrisitianity. If you have questions or are confused about the Bible, God, Christ, etc., please feel free to ask me (via PM). I'm no sage, so I might not know the answer to every one of your questions, but I'll try my best.

I'm muslim, i see there is quite some muslims in here. cool

I believe in one God, and in the day of judgment, in which all of human kind will be accounted. I believe that our intentions should always directed fro goodness, and that i should always be aware of His presence, for He guides us to The light.
I believe that this “light“ is a mercy for us. It opens our hearts to see what our eyes cannot see. It shows us the Truth and brings peace to our minds. It is a Guide that i am always longing for. This truth/light can only be seeked from the inside. It is a strong yelling/crying of the heart, that can be soundless to an ants ear, but so strong to Allah/God.

Our heart are the connector to Allah. And it is also a dwelling for Allah. To purify our heart is to purify Gods dwelling in us.

...If I'd want to talk about my religion I could go on for pages lol bigrazz So I'll just stick to the main thing...
but i should just add, that we learn all this interaction with God from the teaching of the Prophet/Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him)

I am Agnostic. Growing up I've come to the conclusion that any kind of religion is not for me.
