Warn: Banned

So this is the topic for anime/manga sites that contain virus and stuff.

People please beware that the old The Evil Empire website contains malware. Right after I visited that site today, my firewall immediately blocked that site telling me that it contains malware. I just want people to know.....

I don't know if it's allowed here or not....but it's urgent that the warning to told.

Also, I'm not sure if this is allowed...

Mangafox gave my computer a nasty virus. In the end, after going through everything including the registry, we had to rebuild my laptop. Ever since, whether they've fixed the problem or not, I avoid that site like the plague.

I wonder how many other people have had bad experiences on anime and manga sites??

Reminds me, I caught a Virus at Manga Helpers. It was a Downloader Generic 8 Trojan, which was extremely annoying to get rid of.

The same happened to me. I was reading manga on MangaFox one day when the page froze and refused to load properly. Then a bunch of windows of the same page popped up and wouldn't stop for about 30 minutes. It was awful. I try to keep away now, too.

Well, I'm a Linux user, and I mostly surf the net on Linux. For some strange reason Internet won't work on windows (I blame my Wifi card and it's drivers for this...) My net froze once or twice at Mangafox, but I reprogrammed my Linux drivers for my Wifi card, and things seem to be working fine now... Mangafox is working fine for me now. (at least for the past 2 weeks... I'm reading xxxHolic...)

But Thanks for the information anyway. I won't open the site in Windows (Inspite of all the Security on my System) if Internet starts working on it by Chance eyes

********
EDIT ::>
OK... This is Crazy. I open Mangafox on Windows out of curiosity (managed to get the net working somehow). After every 5 or 6 pages, Firefox refuses connection because there is some JAR file downloading instead of the page image, and the JAR file is blocked by the Firewall...
Now, JAR files don't work on computers, but if this was a camouflaged virus, then it's clear there are really viruses here... or even so, some unwanted Program that wants to access your computer and do something (probably bad) with it...

Everyone... Be cautious with this site... to me it's not behaving normally...
none

This happened to me a few times on AnimeA. Now I don't visit that site any more.
