I don't know if this goes against the forum rules or not... but if it does, then please remove it

So... I've been dying of constant boredom seizures lately (yes you can get a seizure if the degree of boredom reaches a certain point!) That's why I decided to try and start translating manhwa (korean manga). I applied to translate for kmts and translated a couple things there, but at the same time I also want to try doing little translation projects of my own with the help of my friend.

This being said, I had a hard time deciding on what series I should start translating. I want to translate a new series, or at least a series that isn't being translated by any other groups and that's why I'm making this post.

If you have any manhwa series that isn't being translated by anyone right now and would want me to get it translated, then please reply with a specific title, some info. about the series and if possible, a link to get its raws.

After I read all of the suggestions and look into each series, I will decide which series to translate.

umm Priest. im pissed that i cant find any Japanese translations and i cant read Korean. the scanlations stopped like 2 years ago and it looks like all that was done was scan the English Tokyopop release. please help. or recruit me and teach me Korean. if there is anything you need done from Japanese, i will gladly do it as soon as school is out (August)

You're not allowed to request where to get manhwa, manga, manhua on the forums...even if they are raws

You may also want to search through this thread, there may be a lot of manga but there might be a few manhwa in there...

if i were ya i'd wait till i get one fully translated... as most of the manhwa i've tried to read end up unfinished(thanks God manwhore finished one ). *points at Goong, Ping and few others*

Ping is being picked up by KMTS .. I thought by Hippo, himself, or one of the other KMTS translators. Goong is being worked on.

Hippo, did you want one a group has planned but has no translator for, or...? Are you no longer going to translate for Amaru?

So, I'm still with kmts, but at the same time planning on doing a (preferably new) series that isn't being translated by anyone. Either that or something really good that has been dropped by other translators ^^.

Ohh, how can I tempt you.

My number one dream/wish/fantasy is Masca. It is a shoujo, but beautiful in the way CLAMP works are, and not fluffy in the least (faces get ripped, arms get cut off, and heads roll in the later volumes). The English publisher seems to have abandoned it, and the scanlators, Korean-Manhwa, don't seem to make it a priority. Maybe you could help them.

These are some other inactive manhwas that I like:
Angel Shop (dropped by the English publisher)
DVD (dropped by the English publisher)
I Wish... (dropped by the English publisher)
Nephilim (dropped by the scanlator; I think they were closed down by the Korean publisher)
Shipwrecked (will be dropped by the scanlator, Entropy, if they don't get help; they do a lot of other manhwas as well)

I'm a huge fan of Ares and hope you really consider doing this.

Most/all old meep series (Nephilim, too, I believe) are being continued by someone. Chronicles of the Cursed Sword had historically been shutdown by TokyoPop. Ares is still active at KMTS.

You should check with the groups who have been recruiting translators in the recruitment forum because they have not started them and are in want of a TLer. i.e. TastyKiwi who wants to do Devil's Bride, etc. ...unless you wanted to do action-only and no girl stuff?
