Well Aishiteruze Baby is kinda like that, but it's a shoujo so maybe not what you're looking for.

Angel Densetsu not actually what is your looking for but the characters involve around the heroine are delinquents(no taking care of baby or anything) the genre is almost the same as the beelzebub

I'm looking for something similar. smile But here's what I've come across:

Yasuko to Kenji: Kenji's originally a gang boss, but his parents die so he becomes a mangaka so he can take care of his little sister.

Chocolat: Chiyoko's dad abandons her and she goes to live with her mom's husband (former yakuza boss) who runs a pastry shop. There's a delinquent parent but she's kind of grown up (16).

Baby Pop

well...the girl is no small child, but it's the same concept pretty much. EXCELLENT series.

Amai Kamiato

do vampires count as delinquents? it's a sweet oneshot though.

The thread tittle was "delinquent parent". The main character of Fruits basket had a mom who was an ex-delinquent.

well i know a anime Michiko to Hatchin it is very good and and i'm sure you will enjoy it.
Plot:Michiko is a free-willed "sexy diva" who escaped from prison, while Hatchin is a run away girl fleeing from her strict catholic foster family. The two join forces and set off on an unpredictable road trip seeking their own freedom.

but...the info about chocolat doesn't mention any of those things and the main characters name is Kum-Ji confused
i think you might have put in the wrong manga name eek
