I feel funny for asking something like this xD But it really starts to irritate me when at least in almost all shoujo manga the one with short spiky hair and nervous disorder would always win over the long-haired and well-mannered guy xD So maybe you could help me find something with characters looking like from The One, Saiunkoku Monogatari, Pahanjip, From Far Away, Ludwig Kakumei or even Hellsing? XD Would be nice not tragedy and no shounen-ai (I'm sure they have plenty, but sadly I don't read it >.<)

You don't limit suggestions to shoujo only, do you?

I can't believe I have forgotten about Trinity Blood xD And now I remember I actually started reading some of them, like Id and Superior, it looked interesting but I don't remember why I put that down >.>; Now if only I could remember at what point I stopped reading... xD (doesn't hurt to reread, though -^_^-)

It's not a problem if it isn't shoujo, though I like romance. Somehow the best romance stories don't even have 'shoujo' or 'romance' label. Because it's not overdid and don't fall into the 'meh..' category xD

Historical manga should tend to have long-haired men thus long-haired male leads. Example is Shin Angyo Onshi.

The Other Side of the Mirror has a long-haired male lead and romance. It's a josei.

Thank you a lot! -^_^- I really like Real Fake Princess so far, because the art reminds me of Akino Matsuri's earlier works ^.^ And I do like history mangas a lot, especially lately. Which is kind of funny, because my major is in history studies as well, so it's history for me day and night xDD

how long is the "long" you want? like, flowing waist-length? or is just past the ears enough?
