I'm just wondering if the manga ends differently than the drama. I'd like to pick up the manga again, but probably won't if it plays out the same as the drama. I don't mean with a different pairing, but maybe a bit more explained, or more detailed or such. No spoilers, though, please.

which would you recommend more: watching the drama or reading the manga? =) it sounds really interesting, but it's kinda long.

Personally, I love the drama! I absolutely adored it! The acting and chemistry between the characters was beautiful. I cried several times during the drama and the female lead (Yoon Eun Hye) became one of my favourite korean actresses.

The only difference between the manhwa and drama is that the manhwa is much more detailed and the characters develop in smoother way. Also, I found the drawings were a little amateurish at the beginning but in the later chapters the artist's drawings become just breath taking which I feel is definitely worth reading for.

So personally, I say read the manhwa and when you get to the last scantalated chapter pick up the drama and watch it so you can tie yourself over till someone does the next chapter. But if you are going to watch the drama GoongS is not a continuation. Its a alternate universe story. I've watched part of it and just decided to continue it. So I'll let you know how it is!!!

Hope this was helpful to you! biggrin

you know I'm rewatching the drama (I saw it when it first came out) and I'm going to say I prefer the drama. I don't care if the manga isn't over. Simply put the drama is shorter and there is an awesome extra character. Also shorter than manga = less dumb drama that they could work out if they freakin talked.

the manga is just frustrating and while I got seriously upset watching the drama like I said shorter.

The actress that plays Chae sucks at acting. And the story is changed in a lot of ways in the drama in a more sucky way. They wanted to have more comedy in the drama so they added some ridiculous plot line to it. for example Chae and her entire family are some idiots that don't even know anything about proper manners. I know they are poor, but they are not idiots.
I couldn't stand watching more than 2 episodes from the drama because of it. I think the manga is 10 times better and even the manga can use some improvements bigrazz .
