GIMP, good because it's free.

Second gimp - but not because it's free. It has a really good variety of plug-ins. (which may sometimes be useful : > )

I second photoshop. I've used Gimp a little before. It's nice, too, but I still like photoshop better.

I'm also agreeing with photoshop. You can turn a grey page into white instantly...well..sort of instant laugh

Photoshop. You can do miracles with the pages. The only problem is that photoshop can be difficult to use for newbies so you're gonna have to start reading guides and tutorials.

I've had no trouble using GIMP. You just have to get used to the differences in controls and such. I liked Photoshop because all the guides were written for it, but I really like GIMP because it's really easy to use. biggrin

Photoshop.
GIMP is okay-ish, but still, photoshop is a lot less annoying.
