Basically, what the title spells out. I myself find it interesting to look at characters that were drawn by other (known) mangaka. Instead of reinterpreting a certain story, it's like they're reinterpreting a character in their own way! bigrazz Post them~

This one's been shown a lot, but it's the 10th OP anniversary.

Samura Hiroaki drawing Genshiken characters.

The mangaka of Blade of the Immortal, etcetera.

Samura Hiroaki (or at least a good imitator) drawing Haruhi.

It's fun.
But it's not something I go hunting pics for.

I remember those. It is pretty funny. I remember Matsuri Hino redrew Tamaki and Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club. It made me laugh for some reason.

Edit: Ok, that one piece one is awesome. Their styles are so strong and yet the character is still there.

Miwa Shirow (the mangaka of Dogs) seems to carry a penchant for being quite a fanartist himself. He seems to like the Vocaloid franchise. laugh

Ayanami Rei of Neon Genesis Evangelion - swimsuit version.

Megurine Luka of Hatsune Mix, with Hatsune Miku's legs.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann robot - second pic.

Sketch of Hatsune Miku.

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga.

Kagamine Rin (again Hatsune Mix) in her Meltdown outfit.

Kamen Rider (Novel) Den-o.

Hatsune Miku 1, 2, 3, 4

Miwa Shirow presumably drew this Hatsune Miku as well.

And yet another Hatsune Miku - angle 1 & 2.

Last Miku one, I promise~

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann one, with Kamina and Viral.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner.

This one here is Gumi who is a new-ish Vocaloid character.

Then there is Julia Werner Tsaritsyno Roshchina (yes, that is actually a name) of Koukoku no Shugosha.

He also drew Johnny of Guilty Gear.

Then the last ones are my favorites, mainly because I'm a fanboy of those two characters.

Cloud of FF:VII Advent Children and Shiki of Kara no Kyoukai.

Phew, done!

I too love seeing characters drawn by other artists. I've only seen a few manga ones though;

Here are two depictions of the classic French sc-fi character Arzach, created by Moebius.
- The first one, drawn by Miyazaki Hayao
- The second one, by Otomo Katsuhiro

Moebius then returned the favour, drawing;
- NausicaƤ, from Miyazaki's NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind
and
- Tetsuo, from Otomo's Akira

these are fun~ especially when it's legendary mangaka drawing legendary characters.

i know Nakajo Hisaya of Hana Kimi fame also drew some doujinshi of Inu Yasha, Naruto, One Piece and some other shounen titles.
