What made me smile today? I went outside for a whole eight hours; that's the longest I've been for the last five months! Also, I was invited to a get together. I'm going to try this "optimism" thing and pray that it doesn't kill me.
Edit: About an hour after I posted this, I watched HunterxHunter abridged by YamatoSFX on youtube. I watched it before and while I found it semi-humorous, I laughed at every single joke during the re-watch. I never laughed for soooo long. I died and then I was revived and decided to make a list for a more positive life.
1.Accept all flaws of self and broadcast said flaws in an incredibly snarky way
2. Be kind to everyone that isn't an open troll
3. Take time to enjoy nature
Cue when I laughed again and fell off my bed. Because most of those things don't go well.
Then I smiled after reading some hearty spoilers on tvtropes. My day? The best it's been in a year.

As I was the last person to move into my new flat, naturally, I got everything the other two didn't want, and that included a shitty uncomfortable chair that wouldn't stick to one height and sunk when I sat on it, and rose as soon as I shifted my weight. The other two chairs were uncomfortable too, but at least those didn't shift in height.
So I complained to the landlord and got a new one, and he gave me a new super comfy chair whilst the other two are left with the uncomfortable ones.
