let's see..i'm going to give you an unclear answer:
if it's for self-defense and it's absolutely necessary or it's the only option that remains, then i don't think it's evil.the two words self-defense are meant to protect a person's life.
but if in any case it's for money, entertainment or any other reason besides saving yourself from someone, then no, it's not alright.

well...
if the situation requires it and if the choices are only:
a. you get killed
b. you kill
id rather go with b. because i really value my own life...

but the situation still hasnt came up to me... none none

Evil, eh?

I wont go into my thoughts on good and evil.

But to answer the question with a question...

Why should I care?

I voted "no idea," for evil is such a vague thing
that it cannot be characterised.
As you lead something to its demise, somebody
might see you as the avatar of justice and
benevolence embodied, but from the victim's point
of view you are most likely not a good person for
killing him/her. In other words, it's both evil and
good at the same time or neither at all. It's up to you.
There really is no law
of nature for it, since morals rise from the human
itself.

You stole my existential thunder Mams -_-;;. Guess I need to be faster.

Good and evil are entirely relative concepts, *insert psychobabble here since you all know where this is going anyway*

Basically, there is no right answer. My personal belief is exceedingly circumstantial, but it essentially distills to just that I don't think any one person has the right to decide whether or not someone deserves to die. I'm perfectly fine with combat-related or other high-tension situations where the morals implicit in humans as a result of cultural grooming are overwritten (I've said it many, many times, there are very few things that can actually bring a person to be able to kill another. Insanity and stress are the most common, by far), but pre-meditation as a result of a perceived grudge or anything similar comes across as nothing more than simple arrogance to me.

It depends on what/who you kill and the reason you do that.
Killing just 4 fun is of course evil eyes

Killing is neither good nor evil.
Intent and belief makes it one or the other.

I voted no. As for why, my beliefs are my own. You decide your own.

I would say no, because it does depend on the situation to an extent. But evil is a very vauge term to use.

If the question was, "Is it wrong/Is it morally wrong/etc." then it could be answered, but it is simply to broad and ambiguous to ask whether killing is evil. Define evil, for starters: What does that mean in philosophical context?
