This chapter still hasn't given me much of a motivation to change my standpoint. Very pointless chapter, it divides the reader into those for Haruto x Kanzaki and those who aren't. Where are my answers? What happened with Yuzuki? Where is my Shiho?

Side note, I know Akari's role was pretty much the same but does anyone think she'll get any action aside from being a side character?

Just read chapter 73, allow me to rant just a bit.

If what is said in chapter 73 is true, I will bluntly say that Yuzuki has become a total tramp, and needs to die. My opinion of Nanami has gotten better, but still the fact that she told Haruto that Yuzuki possibly has a new boyfriend is cruel, although I respect that she really did tell him. Although her reason for telling him was through jealousy and she asks him to go out with her again? Tsk Tsk.

Alright so my questions are answered I'm satisfied but not happy, I'll be waiting for the next chapter in anticipation.

No. I'm not accepting that as the reason why she cut off so suddenly. The infomation came from Rin. I'm taking it with a tablespoon of salt. That girl likes stirring things up. I can't believe it just yet XD

When I see it from a reliable source, then I'll believe it and wonder what on earth Eba is thinking. As of now however, I'm weary.

So, Nanami makes her move! Who's pissed off? XD

*Agrees with extreme prejudice.*

Now, I can understand if feelings for a person change, especially in a long distance relationship.
But just stringing someone along while you start a new relationship is just low.
If she wanted a new boyfriend the least she could have done was end it in his face, not this kind of shit.

On the other hand, this whole thing just doesn't really seem like her. And you have to consider the person we heard it from was Rin.
Let's just hope it was Rin being a bitch.

Okay first off, I'm going to assume it was just Rin being annoying.

Also, while Kanzaki did kind of irk me before (You play hard to get and the get mad when someone else takes the initiative, WTF?), but I like that she's willing to throw caution to the wind in order to get together w/ him, even Yuzuki wasn't willing to do that.

All om all, this was a good chap, and I can't wait til the next one. eyes

First off, she said, "it looks like," because she was talking about him so happily. Not very definative.. Secondly, I doubt the Mangaka would make a(or the) main heroine out to be, without a doubt, so very much hated by everyone. It just wouldn't make much sense.. I bet it's Rin stirring things up a bit. Either blatantly lying or just over exaggerating a bit.

Ch73, cannot believe, it not like Eba at all, 1 more week to go roll eyes , really love the way the story progress, much better than Suzuka, but personally we all know how Haruto will answer Nanami, plot twist anybody.

BTW I followed this story from the very start, and when I go back to check my file, wow 73 chapter, I felt like i have just read chapter 40 yesterday, and re-read make me missed the day Eba stayed with Haruto, ahh the good old day, anybody wanna bet if Haruto will go to Tokyo or Eba will go back to him roll eyes

Well, I'm pretty sure that Eba having a new boyfriend is just a lie, moreover it being told by Rin. Come to think about it, in a manga where the hero is the center of attention, the girls won't just break up with him easily. And say if that is really the case (Eba having a new boyfriend), this story will end pretty soon. My prediction is that our hero will next go out with Nanami for several chapters, when suddenly Eba returns and sees them together and gets really shocked and upset to find that his man's heart can easily change during her absence. And then Haruto will rush to get Eba to explain everything and as usual, things will get complicated and this manga will become a little longer. Well, in a way or another it's also Eba's fault though, for cutting communication with Haruto for a long time (I wonder what's the reason).
Nevertheless, ehem, I have a soft spot for Nanami and would rather like to see Haruto ends up with her. I know most of you don't agree with this, but I'll be cheering Nanami along the way. bigrazz

I am an Eba fan, but I have a soft-spot for Nanami too, so you arent the only one. I will have no problem if Haruto does go out with her (allthough its highly unlikely) as Nanami deserves it.

Sorry I don't mean to be a jerk when I say this, but WHAT? Nanami deserves it? How so, I mean the only good this she has done so far is get Haruto out of depression and all of a sudden she has earned the privilege to date Haruto. Okay when I put it like that it makes it seem as if Haruto is some awesome cool superhero which he isn't but he is still the protagonist of the story, Anyways I do not agree one bit, as Nanami had her chance to go out with Haruto before.

That is a big thing to get someone out of depression. She had her chance, yes, but it was Haruto's fault, words and actions that forced Nanami to reject him. Nanami never once stopped loving him, but Haruto's actions made her believe he treasured Eba more than her even if he confessed to her, so isnt it absolutel pointless and painful to go out with a guy who will prioritize another girl over his Girlfriend? Nanami refused to go through all that pain as Eba was still around and Haruto was likely to repeat his actions and keep neglecting Nanami for Eba even if Nanami became his girlfriend. But now that Eba seems to be out of the picture for good, Nanami is trying her best for Haruto and giving it her all to cheer him up. Nanami has always been like this, she tried her best even when Haruto first confessed to her, this has always been her personality and only once during the slap did we see her acting out of character.

And how exactly does Eba deserve Haruto? I like her and I dont know myself why I like her. Because to me, Eba hasnt done anything for Haruto other than making him cook for her, living in his house, riding on the back of his bike, acting like a spoilt brat, refusing to go to Tokyo without him, acting all wishy washy after her hands were held and getting closer to the sempai, kissing Haruto when Nanami was just outside his door and then saying she will support Haruto while he persued Nanami but also declaring she will make him fall in love with her, then when Haruto confesses she rejects him, after six months he confesses again and she rejects him only to accept at the last moment when the train is about to leave, Eba comes on the date and says she wants to break-up and then said just kidding but broke up with him anyway but didnt have the guts and courtesy to tell it to him to his face causing him alotof pain and anguish. The way I see it Eba has been nothing but trouble and all her actions have been self-contradictory but even so, I like Eba and am her fan for a reason that I am unable to quite put my finger on. Maybe Haruto feels the same?

Anyways, I see people are starting to catch on about Eba not being too thrilled to be near Haruto, first was when she didnt want Haruto to go to a school with Eba in Tokyo because that would be an inconvininience to her, and later when she didnt seem too partcularly thrilled to meet Haruto during his Tokyo trip and other little things like that, I dunno, it just seemed to me that Eba was always too wary of ever commiting herself fully to Haruto. Even her accepting of Haruto's confesson in the last minute, it never sat well for me, and I said so in one of the earlier threads, it just looked like she was taking pity on Haruto after seeing how desperate he looked, almost like an after-thought.

QFT

I like Eba, but she is quite troublesome and after this chapter I'm starting to like Nanami more and more. She's a realist but it doesn't stop her from being optimistic.

This is turning out to be one of my fav shounen/seinen romances. Haruto doesn't seem like a wishy washy loser/jerk, and the 2 main heroines aren't completely unbearable like most of Kouji's female characters.

That might be the strange question... but did we see Harutos dad at least once in manga?

Okay, having the extra time to suffer the cliffhanger nature of the current arc, I went back an re-read the series from chp 1 and in the process noticed something odd. Throughout the series we get lots of insight into all the main cast members except for Yuzuki. It's like the mangaka is specifically keeping her under his own 'curfew' and tightly restricting information about her so that we're all left confused/suspicious/pissed when things happen. I know it's a writing method to keep plots moving by adding mystery, but it feels too detached and leaves the feeling that she's nothing but some sort of catalyst.

So far, the only reason I can see for Yuzuki to have feelings for Haruto is that he was nice to her when other people, mainly her family, were not. As for his side, it just seems like he feels obligated to her due to her klutz/idiot/ditzy nature. More like a sister complex between non-blood-related siblings. Only once did he ever actually comment on what her positive aspects were, and not in length. Quote from Ch.41: "I think it most likely isn't because she is here that I can't date Kanzaki, but because she was there, that I was able to get this close to Kanzaki".

There are far more chapters with Nanami as the focus, and we get to see a great deal of her actual feelings, especially in the more recent chapters. She's never actually disliked Haruto, and has been friendly and helpful to him pretty much from the beginning. That she turned him down the first time is pretty much Yuzuki's fault, as has been previously discussed. Bottom line, she seems to be more the main character than Yuzuki. At the very least she's actually putting effort into being with him, Yuzuki has just been using the situations and playing up his sympathy.
