I used to use MSN all the time, like an addiction, but I haven't even touched it for like a year  I prefer forums now anyway

Same here. Spent too much time on it it was affecting my college work, so had to give it up. Now though, i find it difficult to get back into it all, and prefer forums instead.

Seriously, am I the only person that stopped using IM services when I got into my final two years of HS? I've got aim sitting on my desktop with two accounts on it but the last time I used it mmm... about half a year ago, and then that was only to log on and see if anybody was on.

Well, I have Yahoo, MySpace, MSN, and AIM...
But I never use Yahoo or MySpace, and I rarely use the other two (AIM because it has a tendency to freeze up my computer, MSN because very few of my friends have given me their account names).
I'd probably get on more often if I could pull myself away from reading manga and fanfiction. XD The biggest reason I rarely get on is 'cos people have a tendency to jump me, and it's hard to carry three conversations while attempting to read something.

I used to be on aim, yahoo, msn and a few others but... I just can't deal with them anymore. Too much extra noise, random people popping in and out, and then aim added advertisements. After that I got rid of all of them and if someone needs to talk to me, the phone is good enough.
Recently i have picked up msn again though, because a few of my friends had their phone service dropped. They have nothing but messenger for communication. Its a pain, and I wish they would get their crap together.

I use AIM pretty frequently just to talk to people. But more often i use Ventrilo, because Ventrilo is the awesome
