I do remember reading years ago that the manga ended the way it did because of some popularity poll in WSJ, and since Nishino was the readers' favorite girl, the publishers forced Kawashita into ending her manga with her as the final girl.

Hello everyone.Ichigo 100% manga end.It is true, the author recognized that is guided by a survey to give you the end of ichigo 100% Manga. But she, as I think I had planned that final, if you look at the manga you realize. Toujou I leave it in the past, I forget is it.But I and many readers were waiting to see a final with Aya toujou and Manaka together.that will raise from the first manga. the history question that way.

The only one who is responsible to the ending is none other than Junpei Manaka himself. I mean, he has his own free will to choose from any of the four (including Mukai) as his girl. In the end, he chose who he thinks is "for him".

he made a good choice anyway, not saying that the other choices were bad but he spend most time with her and also confessed her first. He was also brave enough to buy her a pair of strawberry panties

Honestly it really hard to close a girl who often release mixed signal, since it really made the man confused and lost interest
