When people say "It's the inside that counts." It gets a bit old, you never really give a chance to someone with a nice personality when it comes to asking out because you have natural gag reflexes to find certain people repulsive don't you? I'm certainly hot the hottest sap on the block and definitely considered as chubby but even I have gag reflexes, its completely normal to do so. Some people are just more tolerant than others at to what they react to. If you have confidence you aim high if you don't you aim lower, the people who are considered shallow are just teeming with confidence and won't settle for anything below what they're after. I do however have problems with rude people, I was just brought up to be polite and well mannered I couldn't handle that much of a difference.
To answer the main question, I say if I were to date a slim person I'd think there is a catch to it somewhere, I have more confidence with someone who is a bit more my range, but after losing 6stone over the past two years I still find chubby women more attractive. Maybe Kitteh_13 is right I'm probably just a chubby chaser lol, wait for a year or two when I'm around 70kg I'll see if I still like chubby people, this seems like an interesting experiment!

Many, many skinny girls (and some boys) have a terrible posture.
They lack the muscles to hold their body in an upright, healthy way (or they simply never did any serious sport at all) and let their shoulders droop.
It weirds me our. Seriously. (zombies, anyone?)
If they are just skinny, whatever. A little fat is no problem as well. But utterly unathletic people are not attractive to me at all.
(the inside begins to matter when you have to talk to the person in question. if you don't: lucky you! just go for the stud! otherwise, take the nerd over the hottie, it'll pay off)

Only 19 votes for chubby? That's less than I expected.
Well, yeah I voted for chubby. Not that I'd mind a relatively skinnier girl, but I'd much prefer someone with a bit more meat on them. I've only come to this preference over the last few years though. I used to be quite stick-thin, but due to whatever reasons I started gaining weight. I never became overweight, but the difference was certainly noticeable, and I struggled to hide it for a few years. I did attempt to get rid of it through exercising but I wasn't dedicated enough.
Anyhoo, I eventually accepted my extra fat, not long before I finally started losing significant weight. Now I am quite thin, but with a tiny bit of a gut to boot and I'm perfectly cool with it. And any gals with a little meat on their bones should be cool with themselves too; its damn sexy!

I hope slim means normal and not underweight people with no fat. That's no good. Chubby is ok but not if there's too much. The best is to just be healthy.

I still like the average to chubby ones.
squishy squishy! <3
Slim, thin, lanky guys are okay.
But it'd be great if they were just a bit more softer to poke. *___*

Haha I think it also has something to do with height though. A person seems even more thin when they are tall. The posture thing has to do with height especially for a girl. I'm fairly athletic but I tend to slouch because I'm so much taller then all my girl friends. I don't even do it on purpose. So many photos ruined...prom... -le sigh-

A slim guy, if I had to choose.
It doesn't really matter as long as they're healthy. If he's eating a normal amount and exercising regularly, it's all good.
Though in terms of looks, slimmer.

I was looking for sexy chubby girl pics (yeah, I'm a chubby chaser) and I got to this thread in this forum (don't ask me exactly how xD).
I read it full. My kind of girl is something like this (with two looks: ginger pale, and blondie tanned):
do you consider her chubby? slim? curvy? A friend says she's fat. I don't agree xD
More pics:
So??

Obviously personality is most important. BUT!
A person's physical appearance is a pretty good indicator of how well they take care of themselves, which is a key to other personality traits.

My dating experience is very limited but i think i would prefer a slim person. Not so much slim but lanky. And toned but not overly muscular. (my standards list is probably my dating downfall)
Personality is very important. The person can be the most beautiful person in the world but if they have the personality of a tin can then its a no go. Looks can only get you so far. So definatly personality. I want to have meaningful and fun talks with the person not continuously stare at them.

Haha I think it's kind of funny how "what's inside that counts" isn't the most voted. That was my vote, but if I had to go just based on looks, some chicks pull of thin really well, and some chicks pull off chubby really well. Generally I find the girls that are somewhere in between.

im a guy and i would say that body size is not a major factor in choosing the girl who i want to go out for a date.
i jz prefer a girl who is smart, talkative with a good sense of humor

I think it only matters if it's relative weight. The guy has to be heavier than the girls. Guys that prefer chubbier girls are usually fatter than the girls themselves. Guys the prefer normal girls are at an normal weight. It's true.
