but what i reaallly neeed is for someone to convince me to read a manga in order to read it.

Wouldn't it be easy to just do what Base said? If you want just any random manga, just randomly click through the releases or others list. XD Read the reviews from them. That way 'random people can tell you why you should read it...at random'

But okay, I'll play along. Random, so you have no genre preference or dislike any? >.>

no search word. No idea what it is, but I demand you to do it.

This isn't a place where people wait on you hand and foot searching for random manga so you can be pleased. If you want to read a certain type of manga with certain criteria, then there's the "I'm looking For" forum.

If you don't want manga with certain criteria, then stop being lazy and find some random manga on your own.

You're obviously looking for a manga to read, so it's the wrong forum.

Still, if you are interested in recommendations you should show a bit more respect towards the people who you demand help from. They don't have to help you ya know, so clean up your act a bit or else this thread might just get locked.

You can check the "favorite/best manga" threads and see if there's anything RANDOM that you like.
Also you can just go for the high raters.

Shoujo~
Mars- Why? Because it's as realistic as any shoujo manga can get. The drama, though over dramatic at times is at point. Characters are original, or at least what I consider original. Deals with the good and bad of people and relationships. So yeah, it's good and completely scanlated.

Moe Kare!! For something more 'shoujo-y' may be too sugarcoated. but it's a decent read. Has a love triangle, so dunno if you want that or not. But hey...I'm being random here. >.>

Josei
Spicy Pink- Love life of a shoujo mangaka. A bit mature and not enough romance, it's more about the daily life of the mangaka rather than her love interest...haven't read it in a while. Bad thing? Characters are uninteresting and ending is too abrupt. But I'm being random here so yeah...^^;

Itadakimasu- Great Josei. The female protagonist is hilarious and it's very cute too. :3 Nothing bad about it I guess, it's more of a 'feel-good' read.

Seinen
Bitter Virgin- Read the reviews. =p

Emma- Because it's one of my favorite Seinen. >__<

I only read few Shounens so...no recommendations on those. I'm sure you've heard of the top shounen anyway. <.<

And I'll just add Mainichi Seiten here. Because I'm sure you don't read BL, but since you want me to be random I'm adding it anyway. .__.

At the start is your generic harem manga with lots of fan service, BUT is MUCH more than that.

Is like Harry Potter if he was a 10 year old genius with a very interesting past and future, the plot and its progression is top class, with is not what I can say of any of the so called big 3 >_>

Read it, I seriously doubt you will regret it... unless you stop after the first volume (with is a HUGE mistake).
