The manga ends with some tragedy to aiko...i think her father dies and then she and her mother move away. The main character guy or something ends up hugging and possibly confessing his love for the girl he works with, but it would seem that she is in love with another man. The ending takes place 10 years later with the main guy and his aunt? working at the day care. the other ladies have kids it would seem and the girl he used to like has kids or something with the blonde dude. In the end, Aiko ends up showing up and he doesn't recognize it. She tells him something and both of them tear up, then she runs into his arms and the manga ends

I rechecked the raws and the reason of hugging is because he's down because Aiko left. I don't see any confession happening because the kanjis are quite noticeable in most case since they always seem to use the same sentence. The ending happens apparently 10 years afterwards and ends with Aiko saying something along the line of "I'm back!"
