This has been bothering me recently and I wanted other opinions, thoughts and whatnot on this topic, so I joined MU after a year or so of lurking/abusing (sorry for lateness ).

Semi-minor characters Tatsuki, Keigo and Mizuiro have been in and out of the story since the beginning who all have similar spiritual abilities as Inoue and Sado due to Ichigo - so I've been wondering: What role do they play? They have the ability and before entering Heuco Mundo, Urahara said that "they would have a role" soon. So do you think that they also have a special ability similar to Sado and Inoue? This further leads to questioning if they will participate in saving Inoue with the current group. All but Ichigo basicly have been wiped out so reinforcements have to be coming...

Also, Ichigo's father, Isshin. It's quite obvious that he was once a shinigami, and apparently, quite powerful and well known. What are your thoughts on his recent development. And what of Karin who seems to have spiritual abilities.

Sorry for rambling and ranting... Just wanted to get some other thoughts on the topic since Bleach is one of my favorite manga and it's not nearly as fun if you don't share thoughts with other fans.

I figure more will happen with ichigo's dad and karin vs. all his schoolmates. They'll probably develop some power , but be on a level high enough to use it when the story ends.

All except for the skinny slacker friend, his name escapes me. I think he'll play some semi-important part at some point.

Well, I believe Tatsuki and them will have a bigger role since they were introduced in the beginning of the series and, like most action manga, series introduction characters are important and a rarely overlooked. They also experienced spiritual powers before the Soul Society arc, so I hope they have a part in fighting soon since Tatsuki and Keigo are some of my favorites...

I hope tatsuki gets stronger, she would be the leg equipped type super power, like speed or something of the sort, kinda like whats her name from D-grey man. I would like her involvement because she is another Ichigoish type personality being protective of everyone.

dunno about his school friends, i can see tatsuki gaining powers (maybe recieving training from yorouichi since they both practice hand to hand martial arts??) but the others not so much....if they do they will prolly be some useless side ppl (kinda like nell)

still interested in seeing the full power or urahara and genryuusai and zaraki(the genius, leader of gotei 13, crazy badass guy) benihime (i think thats his sword...cant remember) seems to be a physical type so his bankai might be interesting, genryuusai burns the heck out of anything, and zaraki is unknown

as for his father, isshin, id say he still has some unfinished business since the espada who created the grand fisher (who killed his wife) is still alive so i say he has to go over there and get some sweet sweet revenge, ishida's dad will prolly join him just to save his son...i can see them both showing up to save ishida and chad (as stated, isshin for revenge and uryuu for his son)

I agree that Tatsuki, Karin, and Isshin will most likely get expanded rolls. Tatsuki for the same reason Inoue and Sado were able to acquire spiritual powers from Ichigo's over flow of reiatsu. Karin because she's the daughter of a shinigami and also very close to Ichigo and is undoubtedly catching some of his run off as well. Isshin is obvious. I personally think he's on par with Urahara and Yoruichi. I also think that Ishida's father is going to play a role in further plot development.

It seems as though your missing a side character, Yuzu. Even though she can only see the outline of the apparition, doesn't mean she shouldn't be included with the gang. I have a feeling she'll turn out like Inoue, she'll have healing powers. Tatsuki will be like Sio fong and Yourichi. Karin, will most likely be a powerhouse character like Chad(no hollow powers though). I see Keigo turning out to be like Ikkaku for some reason. And Kojima, he resembles Yumichika in his own way. No doubt he will be like him.

Bleach is a huge cocktease of a manga; lots of foreshadowing, but in the end not much happens except the same popular characters in the spotlight over and over again.

I want to see Yachiru get a bigger role. Or at least fight once.

The chances are that those characters will have more plot expressly Isshin and maybe obtain some powers for the others but when it comes down to it all you will most lightly see is the main popular characters but you never know they might make a new main character from one of the semi main characters.

i feel that tatsuki might have a story arc of her own...hahaha

rukia was the damsel in distress in the soul society arc, and inoue's the damsel in distress in the hueco mundo arc. so following that flow shoudn't tatsuki have one too?
