Most of BL series always have the pairing seme x uke (sometimes there are reversibles) but the paring uke x uke seems to be pretty rare (of course). But there's no need to let them look like two girls. It's just that there won't be these stubborn guys. I'd also prefer some Yaoi smut if possible.

Tried to find, but it was unsuccessful.
thanks in advance.

Yeah, I'm drawing a blank here too. Generally sex between boys in manga centers around the act of penetration, and the characters are defined by their respective roles as either a batter or catcher. Having two catchers sounds to me like a dead-end relationship.

Can you be a bit more explicit about what you're looking for? Right now it sounds to me like you're looking for a shounen ai series that features two stereotypical bubbly boys who are celibate. You might not have much luck finding a series like that since much of the tension generated in boys love or yaoi manga focused on exploring a romantic relationship is generated by conflicting personality types.

Sorry I wasn't much help

I second what Tutli-Putli said. If there's no seme, there won't be the stereotypical yaoi sex (penetration). At least one (or both) has to take the seme (top) role, no matter what kind of personality and looks it has.

Could you be more specific, please. Do you want certain personality traits and girly looks for both? Even if they are both girly, weak, submissive, etc, as long as at least one is the penetrator, you can't call it uke x uke.

Or do you want sexual acts not involving penetration for the whole story (and they use dildos for each other? I am looking for this type too but yaoi smut usually have bad art and are boring so I didn't look any further into them)?

Café Latte Rhapsody - Both are not pushy and stubborn and are somewhat a bit girly. But one of them is still a seme. embarrassed
Breath - All of the main characters are ukes at some point, to different partners.

Seconding this one. Thirding this one.

Flowers

I feel like 'there are ones I'm missing', so there must be more out there I can't think of at the moment.

I'm not a yaoi expert (not even close), but that one immediately came to mind when I saw this topic. And it's the only one of its kind that I've seen...I think....

Huh -.- Okay. I get exactly what you mean, 2 boys that prefer being bottoms, but...Eventually, one's going to become the top, or they switch back and forth. Is that OK? They can still be uke x uke, sticking yourself into a hole won't make you a seme.

But if you're looking for uke x uke that switch, neither being the dominant role (as in neither feeling superior and both being on the chibi side which represents ukeness, usually) while still being bottoms, it will probably be easier to give you recommendations.

I know a few where they're both uke, but they also switch, and one or the other is the 'true' uke/seme. It's quite rare indeed. I think Kohitsuji Hokaku Keikaku! is the only one, and even the brown headed one (Kaede?) shows signs of seme in his relationship with the blond headed one.

kthx. after reading all your posts I gave myself a thought. because somehow I came up with that idea. maybe it was when I read a chapter of rules there was a very short moment with two characters (who are later ukes of the whole story (actually one was a seme)) with one always being the uke and the other being embarrassed.

let's see... well, something like both of them were always uke in their live and then they meet. I chose the more common word BL because it's not always about penetration. (There are more ways you know, like just making out or 69)

These two characters don't need to have same traits, also they don't even need to have these uke traits like being girly (that's what I meant in my first post) but could still be a bit manly, rude, maybe badass (just to say that no need to be a wuss) which has nothing to do with the romantic, it's only a trait. But the shyness that no one wants to make the first move (semes usually make the first move even if it's the uke who confesses first) is one of the important things. And they don't need to be unexperienced.

well if there are some incomprehensibleness, just ask.

I can guarantee that the majority of yaoi is about penetration, even if there also exist other ways in the book. But they somehow always make penetration something important or ritualized. And the importance doesn't have to be expressed explicitly in the story. That's how I feel after reading them anyway. Only usually in stories where the main characters sleep around (one night stands, etc.), there probably won't be this ritualized feel.

I don't know whether this qualifies: Cut, where the uke sort of makes the first move.

well but that's yaoi which means no climax, no point, no plot or something (wait, if I didn't want to read yaoi (with the "same" story over and over again), did I just post it in the wrong category?)
anyways thanks to other recommendations.

That's yaoi's original meaning. But in the English speaking manga reading world and on this site, yaoi doesn't just mean that anymore. Please check out the genre definition page. Have a search for some titles, most BL is labeled yaoi even if it is not "no plot", etc. Strange? But that's how it is now.

The reason why in most of them the seme is dominant and makes the first move is because the audience wants gender roles of that kind, I think. You should really check out Café Latte Rhapsody, which probably fits what you are after, and Cut too. They have no stubborn and dominant semes.

Well, technically in the manga Skip Kiss http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=1804
the seme has actually been an uke in most of his relationships. He started being an uke was he was really young when he slept with his teacher. But when he grows older he falls for an uke and becomes a seme. is this the kind of story you wanted?
