I was inspired by the "Word association" thread to come up with this. It's a game that i'm sure everybody knows: u say a word & the next person tries to come up with a word that starts with the last 2 letters of the previous word (i.e. mouse - season etc.)
I don't know if this will catch on but it sounded like fun. So here are a few rules:
1) Please try to refrain from using Proper Nouns (names of countries, continents, oceans & other well known Proper Nouns can be used... but NOT the names of people).
2) If u are stuck on a word and can't come up with a continuation of the game u are to award 1 point to the previous member (the one who came up with the word) and start the game anew with a word of your choosing.
However if u get stuck and award 1 point to the previous member BUT someone posts right after you continuing from the word you are stuck at you will be deducted 1 point and your post will not be considered part of the game.
Here's an example for those of you my logic can't reach:
User X :
monkey
User Y:
(has no clue of a next word) User X +1p
(starts the game anew) banana
User Z:
(knows a continuation to "monkey" so totally ignores User Y) eye
(deducts a point from the previous user) User Y -1p
(the game continues from User Z not from User Y)
THIS RULE SHOULD BE FOLLOWED ONLY IN THE CASE OF CONSECUTIVE POSTS if someone continues the game from "User Y" so be it.
3) You should refrain from using the plural form of nouns as much as possible.
4) Do the point allocation by yourselves and I (or some other kind hearted person  ) will do a ranking containing all the points you've accumulated .
5) I decided that the winner will be the first to reach 30 points. But if this caches on we could have multiple rounds.
6) No double posting (format X-X), but with someone in between it's ok (format X-Y-X)
Sry if I annoyed u again with my hellishly long post but I hope this can be something to wash away the boredom
