I'm really bored now that I have read all the manga I have ever been interested in...
I have looked at recommendations on this site already, actually... that is how I found out about most of the manga I have read =D
Notes:
Preferably Seinen
Not too keen on most shounen manga =/
Story over style (Not a fan of mindless action...)
I like intelligence in mangas ^-^
Don't really like when a manga is totally serious and then has random stupid things in it (ie. "Funny" faces)
I'm okay with gore.... no.... I LOVE gore.
Dark stories are my favorite kind of stories ^-^
Don't mind nudity

I have read and loved:
Kiseijuu (AKA. Parasyte)
-Battle Royale (Second to 20th Century Boys and Akira ^-^)
-20th Century Boys (Favorite manga EVER >=D)
-Akira (Not actually a manga, actually a graphic novel... but might as well be a manga. Tied with 20th Century Boys, fan-fucking-tastic read =D)
-Basalisk (The closest I will ever get to mindless action. It was very entertaining though ^-^)
-Dragon Head (So dark and depressing, but... it had a certain charm [=)
-Bloody Monday
-Project Arms

Liking so far:
-Wolf Guy
-Dolls (Only problem I have with it is that it's taking FOOOREEEEVEER for new chapters to come out >.>

Absolutely HATE:
-Naruto
-Bleach
-One Piece (I actually liked it back when it was funny ^-^ Now it's just another action shounen...)


Genres I love:
Sci-fi
Drama
Psychological
Mystery
Fantasy
Supernatural
Seinen

I am okay with all other genres except for:
Hentai
Shoujo
Shounen Ai
Yaoi

ummm So you love seinen... Or prefer in this case... Then Freesia could be a good option... If you can stomach the first 5 chapters and the random sex scenes that are over the line between smut and hentai... then all is okay... 82 chapters long... Completed

If you like it I guess you can try other [a]Jiro Matsumoto[/a]'s mangas... they're mostly done in the same fashion as Freesia...

No shounen, no shoujo eh? If you want drama and romance then I guess you can go for NANA Thou it's about girls... well you never know what you'll like til you read it

Not necessarily "no shounen" I just don't like most shounen mangas... Bloody Monday and Project Arms are Shounen; although Bloody Monday sorta seems like it is Shounen/Seinen

well if you like parasyte then you can try Tanabata no Kuni by the same aouthor

Eternal Sabbath - fits every genre except Fantasy.

Maybe also Bokurano.
Going on a sort of limb ans will say that everyone should read Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind. Just saying.

Also, if you liked 20th CB, you should try Urasawa's other mangas (Pluto, Monster). Excellent stuff.

Kurozuka
Gunslinger Girl
Elfen Lied
Kurogane
Shin Angyo Onshi
Kurozuka and Elfen Lied have a good amount of gore. SAO is an excellent fantasy story. GSG has a lot of drama and Kurogane is a fast and "refreshing" read.
For shounen I don't believe I can think of something else, maybe Spiral but I don't know how you can feel about it since the dark part of the story came up really slowly.
