Glad you liked it! You must be old in the scene...

The website is amazing, yup. It was established for anyone / everyone who wants a deeper analysis of what goes on behind-the-scenes of scanlations. Hope everyone enjoys it

wow... I had no idea I came to the scene at the first generation, during the growth period... I don't know what to make of this, I feel old...
edit: I mainly had a fileserver on a few channels, but even made my mark editing a couple of chapters.
Left that behind now, even dumped my manga collection off my harddrive.
The site is cool btw

Haha, Tsu, I already got a preview for the site a week ago! Since I'm a mod and all~ But yeah, it was awesome then, and awesome now.
*collects Tsu's rare tears!*

So far I'm loving the site.
but I've found two errors so far.
1. on the mangascreener page Kotonoha is misspelled.
2. (This one made me want to punch someone in the teeth, lol) on "Second Generation: The Golden Age" it saids: "Manga-Sketchbook, which scanlated Banya". They're not a scanlation group, they're a scan group who scan the english published versions.

Get your shit straight, they are a scanlation group. They've done lots of translating in the past, even if currently it is mostly english published versions.

The Kotonoha thing has been fixed... as for M-S, did you know they're actually an European-based scanlation group? Just one of those tidbits...

Yeah, I was crying when I read the History and Timeline ;_; Back in those days, the classical scanlators were like GOD to me Now most of them are inactive TTATT

Wow, I can't believe that I'm also part of the first generation (early 2002). I've always been a leecher though, except for a year or so having an fserve on IRC before BT came along.
And looking at the time line makes me sad, seeing all my favorite scanlation groups shut down again.

Woooooooow. The Ranma 1/2 Project! That was my first scanlation read............ I was so addicted to it XD I had no idea it was "First generation", which kinda boggles now! I didn't know IRC, then, though, so I'm out of the loop with the others. You know the trends, but I for one never really thought about the importance of them....
Good memories
