DEATHNOTE was a HUGE waste of time. I'll admit, some parts are ingenious, but most of it is just trash. Especially in the second half....I didn't see anything intelligent.....
I hate those 'all women got big breast' kinds and the 'all nerds get the girls'....

I definitely agree with ares here. When I first read the first chapter of it I thought it was going to be good, and it was up until a certain point (people that have read it should know what I'm talking about). But after that point I lost intrest and thought that the story went down hill fast.

I got another one that I had my high hopes for then it proceeded to disappoint me: Blue Dragon: Ral Grado. The artwork was great but the story sucked.

Hmm, Death Note was boring to me from the very beginning and yes,
Blue Dragon: Ral Grado was a huge let down.

I have to agree with Ares and SilentDeath, I really like that Deathnote and Ral Grado style of art. But the stories were just bad. Well....bad and boring.

Guess I'll jump on the Death Note bandwagon. I'm not finished reading it but I'm over half-way and yeah... it starts off pretty good with the two mains matching wits but it's really gone to crap fast. All the hype surrounding it doesn't help, it's way over-hyped and the quality doesn't match the hype.

Another one that's disappointing is Love Hina. I'm trying to choke down this last volume now more because I've already gone this far and feel compelled to finish not because I really care about the story. I even like the cliche ecchi harem stuff to a certain degree, but my god man how many times can a person enjoy the same damn jokes and situations recycled throughout 14 volumes. Had it been much much shorter I'd have liked it infinitely more.

I've gotta almost completely agree with everything you said. I gave up on deathnote at like around vol 8 b/c I realized getting groggy reading a manga obviously meant I wasn't into it. But love hina, the last few really seem to do nothing but drag on. Though I did like the little spotlight they gave motoko

Agreed there. I liked Motoko, she was pretty adorable and she managed to realize how she felt and confess in about 2 or 3 chapters. Took Naru like 13 volumes and she's still all wishy washy about it and knocks the crap outta Keitaro if he looks at her wrong.

Here's one more: Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora
I didn't really download this, but my friend gave it to me and now that its in my HDD so I guess I'm kinda forced to watch em all, and yeah...THIS ANIME IS STUPID. It drives me insane! I feel that I'm losing my brain as I watch this. To finish it quickly I'm watching two episodes a day with twelve in total which good AND bad. Good that I'll finish it more quicker, bad because I get tortured longer.
It's mainly the main character that makes this title bad. She is the definition of airhead. I mean, sure I've seen my share of ditsy girls but this is totally different. As she describes herself, she is just an empty shell(as in lonely), and she is! she has nothing in that head of hers!
Her favourite phrase, or should I say her catchphrase would be "Haikei, watashi no ouji-sama" (Dear, my prince). she says this at least twice an episode! It's as if its a code to input new data into her empty head! eg. "Dear, my prince, this is my first kiss!" I cringe...literally cringe every time she says this. And what pissed me off more was that
Spoiler (highlight to view)
she stripped herself in front of he prince because she can't do anything. I mean....what the fugnuggets?! slut alert~

Another thing is that it is really corny. The prince rides on a white horse....everywhere -_- and he sometimes pulls out this violin outta nowhere. eg. They had just retrieved the princess from her kidnappers. The next scene shows them under a tree with him playing the violin. SERIOUSLY!

Why did I even accept this anime from my friend? because I thought it was more about mecha fighting than some dumb b*7ch and her way-too-corny love story.

Azumanga or whatever it's spelled. The jokes just aren't funny. The anime and manga was boring.

I really don't like Ah! My Goddess! either the manga or anime...

For one thing the manga starts off looking like utter crap, then gradually improves over the years. While this isn't really a big deal, it just feels inconsistant. My real gripe is Bellandy. She is just... well... there. She's the most perfect, ideal, Yamato Nadeshiko who loves Keiichi unconditionally and never shows a shred of doubt or jelousy, because she JUST SO PERFECT. Yet they've been together 35 Volumes and I'm wlling to bet that they haven't even gotten past first base yet, because their love is so PURE it makes me want to bash my head through my screen.

How did I miss this post earlier? eek
Anyway, yeah, I watched a bunch of episodes and really it's quite...boring. It was hard to stay awake! It's like "Hurry up and end already..." only halfway through the episode! It's amazing that the manga is so long! I don't think I'd be able to stand it! But yeah, their relationship is...annoying dead

Thank you for providing me with an awesome new word! I shall call my sister it (right now in fact) eyes
