A boy's mom works in Korea and the boy doesn't like the work his mom does..which is kind of like prostitution? And there's a new women coming to work for her, who brings along her blind daughter. The boy's classmate likes the boy, but the boy likes the blind daughter. They become friends, but one night, the girl's mom makes her leave. Then you see, like 10/16 or something years later, you see her in New York City and she's blowing the whistle that the boy gave her when they were younger; he said he would come if she blew that whistle. Then you see her crying because he doesn't come...
