I read an article in the New York Times about how unwed mothers are viewed in Korea. The statistics they gave were pretty staggering. Something like 70 percent of all unwed mothers have illegal abortions, and over 80 percent of those that have the babies give them up for adoption. Apparently, their shame outweighs their desire to raise their children.

I'd like to read an account of unwed motherhood in Korea written from the perspective of someone who has been brought up in that culture. Are there any manhwa that have anything to do with single motherhood?

All I can think of is H2O
Spoiler (highlight to view)
where the main girl becomes friends with a girl who transfers in and it turns out that the transfer student is pregnant. The main girl is utterly shocked but stands by the transfer girl, and I think one of their friends is in love with the transfer girl and wants to be with her even after finding out she's pregnant.
